Day 4 Learning Swift
Ok, now on Day 4 of learning Swift code for Apple iOS and I’m still super-psyched. I had a bit of a setback yesterday. No wait, over the last couple days - a number of things that just didn’t make sense. Then I realized some of the parenthesis in my code were in the wrong place. But still, there was one highly distressing instance of code being perfect - as far as copied directly from teacher with diff. variables and stuff - and it gave errors in XCode. AUUUUGGHGHGHGHGHGH!! But I’ve ignored that and moved on. Now on exercise 68 with Nick Walter at Udemy. The course is great. Super easy. TOO easy, but a good introduction. He skipped over lots of Swift code to give this bare-bones course, so it’s not all I thought. I’ve been looking at other resources and found so much stuff he skipped over. It’s a good course to start with though.
Downloading xcode. Few minutes left. Are you doing the same? It's free get it!
Started with a YT video from Nick Walter. He’s a Swift Dude On Fire and he motivated me to go ahead and make the leap. This is his UDEMY course. It was a grand total of $9 dollars for 79 different ‘lessons.’ Starting this TODAY. Who is with me?
