     I know this song has been blogged so many times before, but this is the first song I ever heard by Led Zeppelin. To be honest I didn't like it at first. I found it disturbing, old and weird. I was disappointed with myself because I wanted to like them, I loved The Who and I wanted to like other classic rock bands.

     I finally fell in love with them the second time I heard this song; on the radio driving with my cousins in Delaware. We listened to the last 2 minutes of the song and they didn't care for it, but I knew I had to listen to more music by them.

     I fell in love with Led Zeppelin because of this song (and so have many others before and after me). And even though I don't listen to them as much as I used to, they will always hold a special place in my heart. I wish I could travel back to the 70's so I could experience them live, but all I can hope for are reunion concerts and tribute bands.

     I'll never be able to hold back a smile listening to this song; taking me back to the summer when I truly fell in love with classic rock. ~Thank you Led Zeppelin for buying me a Stairway to Heaven.
