a/n: they have been on my mind so much ever since the nod krai archon quests and even more since sunny summer fontinalia. someone tell them to get out of my head and also tell sandrone to come home because i lost my 50/50 and im broke and if she doesn't come home with the primos i can manage to scrounge up im going evilmode #evilmode. this is baby's first tickle writing post so if there are typos um no there aren't.
let it be known that this is the switch couple of ALL TIME. loves being tickled x loves being tickled. except one of them admits it freely and the other one would rather die than say it out loud ever. you know who is who, right?
let’s tickle columbina first
can a lee be any more cute than her? i don't think it’s possible
her heart beats faster and she smiles right away whenever she hears “COLUMBINAAAAAAAA!!!!” because she knows that means her sweet sandrone is going to tickle her to death later!!! KYAAAAA
she feels loved and cared for knowing sandrone would tickle her so much, even if she was doing it under the pretense of being annoyed at columbina or getting her to shut up. sandrone knows columbina likes being tickled, she says as much. even if sandrone wouldn't admit it, it makes her feel so flustered and happy when she tickles columbina. even if she is SO annoyed! ugh!
columbina is ticklish everywhere. my moon goddess can’t be this ticklish ?! >////< WELL SHE IS. really ticklish.
her tummy is bad, her underarms are bad, and her whole legs and feet are bad.
her laugh is really beautiful ;w; ahh. she's a giggler for sure. just pure and bright giggles. she definitely has a louder laugh too when shes tickled for longer, it’s the same kind of feeling! such a clear and beautiful sound. i think she might hiccup a little bit too that really fits her because she's really cute!!!
columbina embracing her love for tickles almost enrages sandrone. how— just how can she be so forthright with her feelings! and just!! admit that so easily! it’s something she will never understand. but obviously she loves columbina and she loves tickling columbina… so why does her girlfriend admitting that fluster her so much!!! she should be the one flustering columbina!
shes trying to be evil and ruthless and punish columbina for being so… annoying!!! it’s not fair! it’s not much of a punishment at all if she likes it!
on flustering columbina… it’s really not possible. sure, her brain gets scrambled and she loses her composure when she gets a really good tickling, but this girl is resilient. if she wants something she has no problem saying/doing it if it makes sense to her in her head.
“why’d you stop?” when sandrone gives her a break
“aren’t you going to start again?” when sandrone thinks that surely shes reached her limit by now
nope, she recovered quickly and that frustrates sandrone because HOW?! she seriously loves this girl so she attacks her again with love and annoyance but isn't columbina just unbelievable?!
when columbina’s really done she will of course drag sandrone in to cuddle and fall asleep quickly.
in sandrone’s room of course, on sandrone’s bed (during bina fatui era.) naturally, because of sandrone’s key, she sleeps on her stomach. and what better place to do that than right on top of columbina!!! it’s not like she has a choice of course. columbina is holding her tightly!! ugh, how annoying!
sandrone, who was once left with no desires and nothing she wanted to do, now has many things to do, with this seriously annoying girl that needs to be tickled in her life! ꒰｡- ᴗ - ｡꒱
sandrone’s turn
sunny summer fontinalia spoilers kinda but it's minor. you know sandrone is back already because shes in the game right now!! a little bittle of alain sadness as well im sorrie.
even though im writing sandrone second, i do think sandrone was the first to get tickled by columbina.
the natural columbina pattern of thinking:
learn what tickling is through observing the frostmoon scions
tickling is something fun to do to bond with friends and make people laugh
naturally she knows what she needs to do to her dear sandrone, who is way too grumpy for her own good
sandrone would have never thought to tickle columbina if columbina hadn't gone and done it to her out of the blue one day! seriously, what was she thinking!
when sandrone is going on about another one of her day-to-day grievances with her coworkers, without warning, columbina's delicate fingers meet her sides, and she splutters out a warbled, confused sound. was columbina tickling her?! obviously, she knew what tickling was, and it wasn't something that concerned her in the slightest. no one had ever tickled her, you wouldn't just… tickle lady marionette. but here she was, desperately trying to hold back her laughter as columbina clumsily scribbled at her sides. this is just. UNBELIEVABLE!
she manages to pull columbina's wrists away from her waist after a few seconds but the damage is already done. "what the hell do you think you're doing, COLUMBINA?"
"sandrone? im sorry, was that not the appropriate thing to do? you seemed stressed, so i wanted to make you laugh."
"columbina… you… UGH! nevermind."
and from there, tickling becomes a regular part of their relationship >/////<
sandrone could never truly regret her ability to feel touch, given to her by alain, of course. but in times when columbina exploited her weaknesses, she cursed his genius. just how was he able to accurately recreate the human nervous system so much so that she could be ticklish?
aside from her key and internal components, sandrone appeared as and shared many of the core functions of a human being. being alain's greatest creation, she could taste, touch, and breathe as a human would. he wished for her to live her life not as a machine, but as a person of her own. and so she did. whether alain had envisioned whether or not she could be ticklish during her creation, she had no idea. he was her father, but there was never a time where they touched enough for her to find this out. sandrone was naturally independent (or so she liked to think) and unconcerned with affectionate gestures, so the thought had never even crossed her mind. before long she became alain's caretaker and tended to his needs herself up until his dying day.
i can't forget to talk about what sandrone's like when she gets tickled… shes very ticklish of course :3 i would say less than columbina, but there are some spots that drive her insane!!!!!!!!! i think that her worst spots are her ribs, sides, and lower tummy/hips area… and also feet tbh
shes definitely one to try to hold in her laughter for as long as she can. with… varying degrees of success. sometimes it only takes a few seconds, and sometimes she even able to go for a few minutes without breaking. but when she does, it's bad. nothing embarasses her more than being made to laugh so uncontrollably like that. columbina's thrilled about that, of course. gods. she will be the death of her.
now, we know in the fontaine summer event, sandrone has gotten better at expressing herself. now the past her could NEVER admit to liking something like tickling and im totally firm on that idea for her before this quest she would be such a denier there's not even a chance you'll get her to say anything. as far as she says, she hates being tickled.
but after the quest—
in soft, intimate moments with columbina, there will come a day where she could admit a little something.
“it isn’t so bad if it’s you.”
“it’s… fun.”
but she’s still the same old sandrone deep down ;3

"it's not like i could do anything to stop you." true actually. columbina always gets what she wants
i don't think she can say parts of her true feelings about it very often. columbina is addicted to making her, though~
columbina, being ever so observant, says shes noticed that sandrone's key sometimes turns faster now that she's embraced her inner feelings. like when columbina praises her… or when she tickles her…. it spins a bit or a lot faster!!! when she points this out to sandrone she acts like she simply has no idea what she's talking about. all while the rotation of her key speeds up. :)

can we talk about columbina’s outfit. im sorry is this too much. im like probably in love with her she literally . ugh. i just finished the moon quest and i couldn't even focus when she was on screen because i was thinking about tickling her. if you have your legs and underarms out im gonna get you seriously
this is a bit hesitant because im not sure if it's canon or where i even heard of this. but the concept of sandrone being unable to move if her key is removed. i know she removes her key to sleep in a hoyofair animation, but in the official animated short we can see her sleeping on her stomach with her key still on. i think that her key stays on all the time in canon but imagine if her key could be taken off and it freezes her in place and shes completely unable to get away from tickles hwhwhehwhjehewhjk
i haven't played the tabletop troupe quest/anecdote(?) because i think you need SANDRONE to get it. hear me out on the vampire x vampire hunter tickle yuri though. theres really potential here.
