If the Weasley twins + lee jordan were staring at something while whispering, you better assume it will either:
1) Catch fire
2) Get up and start doing the cha cha slide
3) Turn a violent shade of purple
4) Explode
5) Bounce into the slytherin common room while shouting “merlin’s pants!”
A/N: I received a very fun request to write for Lee Jordan from the Harry Potter series. What happens when Lee has a secret crush that he wants to ask out for Valentine's Day? Will that crush be reciprocated? This will be a two part story that will build up to those sweet moments that were requested. Please enjoy!
You would never admit to yourself, or anyone else for that matter that you liked him. Lee Jordan, That spunky guy in your charms class. He was not one of those people who one would describe as popular like Cedric Diggory from your house, Hufflepuff or his Ravenclaw girlfriend, Cho Chang. However, he was the type of person that everyone knew and couldn't help but like. Case and point, he was the Quidditch commentator and even Gryffindor’s no nonsense head of house, Professor McGonagall was known to fight back a smile at his spontaneous reviews of the game.
Behind the mic was where Lee was at home, cracking jokes, calling out unexpected plays, and even catching the eyes of a few people in the stands. Not that you cared or anything. You were just observant, and Lee was someone who was hard not to notice. He had incredible locs and caramel colored eyes, a combination that came together as effortlessly as his charisma.
Like today in charms, he and his best friends, twins, Fred and George, were done early with their assignments and were giggling in the back of the class about something. You only caught a few words of their conversation.
“That's how I asked Angelina to the ball,” Fred said.
Lee sighed. “Yeah, but she already liked you. This is different. Not all of us can have that luck. If you recall, I went stag to the ball.”
Fred and George were known to be the school clowns. They had a sense of humor that drove professors crazy and the girls wild. If Lee was funny, then the twins were twice as funny. No pun intended. Rumor had it that they were selling trinkets and magical treats to raise money for a joke shop they wanted to open after graduation.
“Come on Lee. You’re a Gryffindor! All it takes is a little courage!" George insisted. “Watch this.”
Suddenly, you felt a tap on the shoulder. When you turned around, Fred and George were staring at you, gleefully, while Lee had a bewildered look upon his face.
“Excuse me. We are trying to prove a point here to our friend Lee. He has a crush on someone, whose identity he’s yet to reveal to us. The thing is he's too afraid to ask them out,” Fred said, oblivious to the humiliation on his friend’s face.
“Hypothetically, if someone was bold enough to ask you out for a stroll around Hogsmeade on February 14th, would you accept or decline the invitation?” he inquired.
“Hypothetically?” you asked, confused by the whole ordeal.
“He means that if someone was to pluck up the courage to ask out someone they fancied, do you think they’d be more likely to accept the date or decline it? What would you do?” George said, while Lee slunk further into his chair with embarrassment.
“Uh… I’d accept I guess,” you replied, feeling your own face flush with inexplicable warmth.
“It’d depend on who was asking me, but I’d be pretty flattered by the kind gesture, so I'd most likely to go out with them.”
“See!” the twins exclaimed, as Lee looked like he wanted the floor to open up and swallow him.
Whoever this mysterious crush was, you couldn’t help but feel intrigued by them. They must be pretty exceptional if they were capable of turning the usually suave and chatty Lee into a flustered mess. You almost envied them for that. Almost. After all, what reason did you have to be jealous?
Another tap on your shoulder, quickly made you snap out of the unexpected thought spiral you’d fallen into. It was Professor Flitwick.
“Students, if you are finished with your assignment, please sit quietly as others are still working,” he said.
You nodded, but the last thing you wanted was to sit in silence because your mind kept circling back to him. Why did you have a pit in your stomach at the thought of Lee liking someone? It didn’t matter unless…
No! That couldn’t be true. You couldn’t like him. Could you? Lee was a guy that everyone liked. He was a jokester. He was a familiar face. He wasn’t someone that you were falling for. However, the pang in your heart as he raced out of the room after class, without looking back, told you everything you needed to know. Clearly, it wasn’t you that he was crushing on, and it hurt because the truth finally sunk in. You had a crush on Lee.
A/N: The next part will be out very soon and will feature lots of sweet moments between Lee and his mysterious crush. 🤭 Stay tuned!
Hii, sorry for taking long to reply! I was thinking maybe spending Valentines Day for the first time with Lee? I'm a sucker for that day, like I'd marry someone in the spot if they got me a plushie (the cheesiest the better lmao). And could you please make it Hufflepuff reader?
Thank you so much!
Yes! That sounds adorable! I'll get to writing that right away! I'm a sucker for sweet Valentine's Day stories too! Stay tuned. :D
