I am in a play that is about transgender childhood, and the whole cast and crew is trans. So, of course, they want everyone's preferred name and pronouns for the program. The problem is my dad might come to the show and he's super transphobic and my mom is definitely going and she's not exactly transphobic but she's also not chill about me using another name or pronouns. ((The play is about parents who don't accept their trans children so I think it'd be a little ironic if they left mad at me about my pronouns))

what do I do for the program that my parent(s) will see

take the opportunity to come out. it'll be funny.
