Y/N's heart raced as she stood next to Lee Garcia under the soft glow of the streetlights. They had just spent the evening laughing together, sharing stories, and discovering how perfectly their hands fit when they brushed against each other. The night was warm, but the electricity between them was even warmer. As their conversation slowed, Lee's gaze softened, his usual confident demeanor giving way to a nervous, yet endearing, hesitation.
"Y/N," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. The way he said her name sent shivers down her spine. She looked up, finding herself lost in his deep brown eyes, and for a moment, everything else faded away—the distant city sounds, the cool night air, even the fluttering in her own chest.
Lee leaned in slowly, giving her every chance to pull away. But she didn’t. Instead, she found herself closing the distance between them, her eyes fluttering shut as she felt the warmth of his breath on her lips. The first touch of his lips against hers was gentle, almost as if he was afraid to break the spell that had woven itself around them.
It was soft, sweet, and filled with all the unspoken words and feelings they hadn’t yet found the courage to voice. Time seemed to stop as they melted into each other, the world narrowing down to just the two of them and the perfect moment they shared.
When they finally pulled back, their faces still close, Lee's lips curved into a smile, his forehead resting against hers.
Y/n Y/l/n, also known as sunshine, is filled with joy and sunshine 24/7.
Why is she always so happy? No one really knows but she's always in a good mood especially when she's around her boyfriend..
Meanwhile her boyfriend, Lee Garcia is moody and grumpy 24/7.
And why is Lee so grumpy 24/7? once again no one knows, he just is.
However, he's slightly less grumpy when he's around his sunshine girlfriend, y/n.
She always makes him happy, even when it's impossible to make him happy she always makes him smile without fail.
It just so happened to be a Sunday afternoon and it had been raining, a lot.
Rain did something to Lee, as well as it did to you. Rain always made Lee ten times more grumpy than usual and it helped y/n sleep.
But when there was lightning and thunder, it frightened you.
However Lee was always there to calm you down or make you feel better when needed.
Right now, Cole and George have been attending to the horses making sure they stay warm during the storm that brewed every second.
Alex had either been upstairs in his room gaming with Kiley or reading, Jordan, Benny, and Parker had been playing inside in one of their rooms and Katherine had been at work.
And Isaac... well who knows what Isaac is doing, sleeping, eating, gaming.
But right now y/n and Lee had the living room and kitchen to themselves, mostly the whole first floor.
Everyone had been too busy doing their own things to keep their eyes on the couple at all times.
Meaning the couple had time to do whatever they wanted with no adult supervision, if you know what I mean...
After they had their fun, the two of them laid on the couch, fully clothed in their pajamas before drifting off into a deep sleep.
One that they desperately needed after tiring themselves out.
The two of them had fallen asleep to the sound of the rain outside and the background noise of the movie that they had playing on the TV.
The couple fell asleep comfortably intertwined in each other's arms.
However y/n had woken up to the sound of thunder striking. It startled you awake causing you to jump slightly from the couch.
Lee felt you jump and began to groan in his sleep as he stirred on the couch. He had been exhausted from earlier.
The sound of the thunder striking scared you so badly that you couldn't go back to sleep no matter how hard you tried.
You reached for your phone on the table beside you checking the time to see that it was 3:12 in the afternoon.
Deciding it was time for you to wake up and do something, you let out a sigh before you gently made your way out of Lee's arms and into the kitchen.
Lee had been in a bad mood all day.
The sex had somewhat helped, but after he immediately fell asleep, so you wondered if he'd still be in a bad mood when he woke up.
You didn't really know why, but you decided that he needed some cheering up, and you planned to give it to him with some of his favorite things.
The Walters had known you for years so you going into their kitchen and making yourself or one of the Walter boys or Garcia boys a snack wasn't weird for you or for them.
The Walters had gladly opened their home up to you.
So you decided to make some of Lee's favorite things with whatever food or snacks they had in the household.
Opening the fridge, you looked inside to see a bunch of fruit, you began to crave the sweet fruit.
The idea of the sweet, cold, fruit crunching in your mouth made you want nothing but fruit. It also helped you to be healthier.
However you also craved some chocolate, you decided to make chocolate covered strawberries, and slice up some watermelon, mango, and pineapples for the two of you.
Watermelon, mango, and pineapples were your guys favorite fruits and chocolate covered strawberries were just really good, some of you guys favorites.
Reaching into the cabinet for some chocolate, your eye caught some pretzels.
grabbing the pretzels, you decided to make chocolate covered strawberries, and chocolate covered pretzels for you and Lee along with the Walters.
Lee usually craved something sweet and refreshing after having sex as did you.
So after washing the strawberries, cutting the leaves off, and melting the chocolate you began dunking the savory fruit and salty pretzels into the chocolate.
Scooping them out of the bowl with a fork, you placed them onto a cookie sheet and into the fridge to harden.
Once you finished, you began cutting up the watermelon, mango, and pineapples, after about 45 minutes, you had finally finished and Leigh had woken up from his nap.
He called out for you with a cry, "Y/nnn!"
The way Lee dragged out your name, you could tell he missed you and his arms and that he just wanted to lay with you.
And being as he was being grumpier than usual, you immediately went to him.
Leaning against the wall that led to the living room, you smirked as your eyes landed on him. Lee laid on the couch with the blanket covering half of his body.
Lee wore a a white tank top and black shorts, his feet sticking out from the bottom of the blanket. "Yes baby?" You questioned him.
"Come back to bed," he groaned, once again dragging out his words, "in a second," you told him before making your way back to the kitchen.
Quickly cleaning up, you began to place the dishes in the sink and wash your hands, you began to load the dishwasher.
"Y/nnn!" Lee groaned out once again this time with urgency in his tone.
Lee calling out for you caused you to quicken your movements so you could get to him faster.
Once you finished, you made your way back to the living room to Lee.
Lee laid on the couch with his arms and feet spread out like a starfish and his eyes closed. He looked comfortable so you figured you'd join him.
Walking over to him, you gently laid on top of him, taking the boy by surprise, but he didn't mind, instead he gently took you in his arms with a small smile dancing on his lips.
He then squeezed you tight in his arms causing you to smile at the action.
The feeling of just being in his arms mad you happy, the warmth you felt, the way he held you tight, like he'd lose you if he let go.
You lied in his arms, squeezing him back just as tightly.
Lee closed his legs, wrapping them around your waist, so you couldn't move, or leave.
"I made you something," you whispered into the crock of his neck just before he could drift off again.
"Oh yeah?" he questioned with a raspy voice, "mhm," you mumbled with a slight nod, "and what's that?" he wondered.
Gently lifting your head up ever so slightly to be eye to eye with him, "something I hope will cheer you up from all your grumpiness today," you replied.
Lee chuckled and then leaned up, moving both him and yourself to sit up, "like what?" He questioned with a cheeky smile.
Adjusting yourself on lee's lap caused him to shift in his seat, "what're you doing?" Lee wonders with a monotone voice.
"Getting comfortable," you retort with a smile, as you moved once again wanting to tease him a little.
"Maybe you shouldn't, for your sake." He says whispering the last part in your ear, "okay then," you say rising from his lap and onto the coffee table.
"Wait no come back!" He whines, "no can do," you shrug folding your arms in front of your chest, Lee rolls his eyes with a scoff.
He then turns over to face couch cushions causing you to roll your eyes at him, "cmon don't go back to being grumpy Lee."
Lee continued to face the couch cushion, this time closing his eyes and crossing his eyes. You let out a scoff at his pettiness and get up from the coffee table.
This time you don't lay with him, or call out for him, this time you walk back to the kitchen, making your footsteps echo through the halls to let him know you were walking away.
Now Lee had no idea what to do, he didn't know if he should chase after you, or continue to be petty and wait for you to come to him.
He contemplated for a second before getting up with a sigh and making his way into the kitchen.
His eyes landed on you to see you leaning against the island with a bowl of fruit in front of you, a fork dancing in your hand.
Footsteps echoed through the house causing you to spin around as they began to get closer, "are you done being petty?" you question your boyfriend with an annoyed look on your face.
"Yes baby," he said softly bringing his hands up to your face, gently removing the strand of hair from your face.
"I'm done for the day, I promise," Lee spoke with truth and adoration for you in his tone.
His actions and smile caused you to smile up at him.
The fork still stood in your hand, placing the fork back into the bowl, you picked up a piece of watermelon.
Bringing the fruit to lee's lips, he gladly took the fruit into his mouth. You watched as he ate the savory fruit before placing some fruit into your mouth as well.
This time he watched you with urgency.
Like he wanted something.
Or needed something.
The second you stopped chewing Lee took the fork from your fingers and roughly placed it into the bowl beside the two of you.
His actions surprised you, but you knew exactly what he wanted.
He took your face into your hands, inching closer to you before bringing his lips to yours. Once your lips intertwined with his, Lee just sort of just melted into you.
Every ounce of moodiness and anger leaving his body.
Your kiss calmed him down in ways he didn't even know were possible. As did his kiss calmed you down.
The kiss continued until the two of you couldn't breathe, until your lips were reddened from the roughness.
Once you pulled away from him you went back to innocently eating the fruit that sat in front of you on the table like nothing happened.
Lee scoffed at your actions but joined you, stealing a piece of mango from your bowl.
He had been much happier after kissing you, he usually was.
If you kissed him enough throughout the day, he'd been perfectly happy all day and considering the two of you had not only kissed enough, the two of you also had sex.
Meaning Lee would be in a good mood all day.
You then reach into the fridge to grab the tray of chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels. Laying them out for you and Lee.
You made enough for the both of you and for the Walters. "I made your favorite," y/n sung with a smile dancing in her lips.
Lee smiled at the action before bringing his lips to yours muttering a small "thank you baby" before pulling away.
The two of you sat in the kitchen eating the chocolate treats you had made.
"So are you happy now?" you question with wonder filling your tone, "I am," he nodded with a smile.
"I'm always happy when I'm with you," he spoke again, his words caused you to chuckle with a smile, "I am too. Always," you told him.
You could tell that the grumpiness in Lee had faded for good. And it'd stay like that all day long.
You made him happy and even though the two of you were always known as the grumpy and sunshine couple.
Right now it was just sunshine and sunshine.
