whenever i think about liam saying that you get stuck at the age you get famous at, it always reminds of how roman churches would have young boys in their choirs castrated before puberty so their larynxes wouldn't develop due to testosterone and they would possess "the voice of angels". (this was done mainly because the catholic church prohibited women in choirs.)
usually, this practice would help them retain higher registers and more flexibility, while letting them have the lung strength of grown men. and i genuinely cannot separate this image from one direction.
