Happy Holidays, friends! ❄️
It’s that time of the year where I usually post something cozy or snow related, and 2019 is no exception. Yet, this has possibly been the craziest rollercoaster of a year so far, and I’m very happy and hopeful for what the future holds.
Almost ten years ago, at age 13, I started developing the first characters of “The Garden of The Snake King”. This project had no name and it was a COMPLETELY different and crazy universe fitting the mind of the imaginative middle schooler I was. Stilo, the one-eyed sulder riding his faithful, draconic companion Pirah, was soon to be born. The angel-faced and smooth talking gallant Chillet, whose first name -I can finally tell you- is Grisha, followed quickly. Now, at age 23, I’m deeply grateful to all the people who cheered for me and supported me and my weird imagination during all this time, because it’s thanks to them if I can show my characters and stories to the world - and this year, the possibility of making something concrete out of the Garden is more real than ever.
So, onwards to 2020! Thank you deeply to all of you for accompanying me and believing in me during this hard and crazy journey. See you next year for new struggles, new challenges, and new beautiful adventures.
