Hope didn't want to admit it, but in all honesty she was lost. What started as an adventure to explore had turned into getting lost somewhere in Who Knows Where, Tennessee. It took her asking one of the locals to finally get her feet under her.

Franklin, Tennessee.

At first she'd come here at the rumors of one of her family members being spotted in the area, then pride gripped her for a brief moment when she couldn't find them and she stopped searching. It turned into her wandering around the town and the outskirts just to find something to do. She didn't want to return to the school too soon, that would mean she admitted defeat and as much as Hope tried to admit she wasn't - she was stubborn as steel wall. So, she stopped into a little coffee shop to get herself an iced lavender latte. She liked the way it looked, plus the lavender helped hide the bite of the coffee and she always made sure to add extra French vanilla.

𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐘 𝐈𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄'𝐒 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐒   . . . It's late at night, Hope couldn't sleep even though she had tried almost everything natural that she could think of including imaging sheep jumping over a fence & counting them. By 2 am, Hope had given up & decided to just go downstairs for some tea & an elixer that might knock her out for a few hours.

It's the long way to the kitchen that leads her past Rebekah's room with the door open that causes Hope to wonder what her @leftdaggered might be doing at this hour. Knuckles tap against the wooden door. ❝What are you doin up?❞ If I was in Norwary right now, it would be 9 am & I'd be painting.

hope had been sitting on the sofa near the balcony doors for a while, but within reason. sure she could text and call her friends and family, but writing letters kept her going as well. it had been about an hour or so, but she'd written and sent three letters so far. her fourth one sat in her hands, nearly finished, but she got stuck on how to end it. once an idea came to mind though she signed off and then folded the letter neatly to fit between her hands. hope kept it clasped between her hands as she closed her eyes and muttered the spell to send it in her mind. thanks again for teaching that one aunt freya, she grinned as she felt the letter disappear in her hands.

Hayley sat in the convertible beside the original, arm resting on the open window, enjoying the fresh air. Her head was rested against the seat, eyes closed as the light breeze hit her. “This is nice,” she comments, tone light. It’s true, she’s not supposed to leave the plantation house. She knows this - Rebekah knows this - but really rules are made to be broken and she’s running out of clothes that fit. And since walking around naked seems like a bad option Rebekah had offered to take her shopping. “And to think, I thought fresh air was a myth,” she jokes tone light as she turns her head to face the blonde. “Have I mentioned I appreciate you doing this?”

Alaric taught his daughters to respect their elders, so on instinct, Josie almost greeted the blonde as Ms. Mikaelson, but it didn’t feel right when, physically, they were about the same age. That would be like referring to Hope as Ms. Mikaelson. No freaking way. “Rebekah, right?” she asked instead, coming to a stop in front of the vampire.

She’s a little on the uncomfortable side if she’s honest. Another Mikaelson ball, another fancy dress and another night of her trying not to touch anyone, even accidentally. She’s made sure to wear her gloves but things can happen. Linnea only hopes that the guests will all survive the night. “Are you sure that Klaus isn’t planning on ripping any hearts out?”

     The man let out a small chuckle. “I know. It’s hard to believe, but it’s true. I have seven children. Seven, amazingly beautiful children...” He set down the drink he was holding. He’ll look to the bartender and motioned for another. 

    “They’re great.”

Community service. Of course she'd been slapped with it. Her dad thought it would help her learn a little more responsibility if she took the younger witches into town to do a little cleaning up program. Maybe you'll see a little of yourself in them and see what I have to deal with.

Okay, maybe he didn't say that exactly, but he might as well have. It seems there was someone visiting the school that he didn't want her to meet. She'd heard the whispers. She wasn't sure who it was and she didn't have time to figure it out before she was shoved on the bus full of kids and forced to be out with the normies of the world.

Of course one of the kids came up to her while she was leaning against a tree and asked her for what she was going to do. "I'm observing, Lani," she stated, "If one of you little brats decides to get into trouble I don't think dropping a bag full of trash to run over to stop it would be best. I have to be ready for anything. Now, go do your assigned job." The girl huffed and turned away, mumbling something under her breath and Lizzie rolled her eyes. She needed a coffee or a vacation or maybe both. Somewhere in Venice or Fiji preferably.
