"well that's pretty fucking poetic, isn't it?" she didn't mean for it to come out as harshly as it it did. everything that came out of her mouth these days felt like it came out serrated, cutting up the inside of her cheeks before it ever made it to the receiver. she knew why she was so mean, but it didn't seem like anything she ever did fixed it. hughie sat next to her, trying to reassure her and give her semi decent advice and she wanted nothing more than to push him away. she slumped forward where she sat, resting her arms on her knees and letting her head hang loosely between them. cascades off messy blonde hair hiding her face from her companion. "where'd that come from? do you just keep a book called 'what to say to your fucked up friends' on hand?"

Y'know... as long as people still took him seriously and treated him with dignity, he actually didn't mind being called cute.

In reality as a ShadowPaw ninja he did wear his gear a lot, without it he could feel pretty vulnerable at times, it was a case by case basis but in general he liked to always be prepared with all his pocketed ninja weapons on hand whenever danger suddenly arose.

All that being said, he could not deny that all his other non-ninja-related clothes were a lot more comfortable than what he's currently wearing.
