chapter 01 -- in chapter one kit answered a roommate ad and met nate. kit was awkward and blurted out that he was gay (bc seeing nate just reaffirmed how gay he really is) and nate was uncomfortable. kit explained that he was just getting out of a bad relationship, and nate hedged about whether he would offer kit the room that was for rent.
spoiler alert: he does offer kit the room and kit moves in. they all party and get to know each other.
chapter 02 -- nate and kit have a couple of heart to hearts to clear the air between the two of them. nate finds out that kit is an internet personality, that he’s super smart and funny... (a crush is born)
also, nate discovers a love for watching kit do yoga.
chapter 03 -- kit and the other roommates visit nate at work (nate’s a bartender); they hang out and keep him company. jenni shows up -- the girl who used to rent kit’s room -- and kit gets uncomfortable when he sees jenni and nate interacting. dani tells kit not to bother crushing on nate, bc it’s a dumb idea. (kit doesn’t care what she thinks)
later, jenni shows up at the house and waits for nate to get home. she confesses her feelings for nate, and nate -- totally clueless that such a thing could ever be happening -- lets jenni know that he doesn’t feel the same way. she leaves disappointed.
also nate and kit discover and obsession with cuddling/sleeping together (platonically~)...
chapter 04 -- nate watches kit do yoga.
the roommates hangout and gossip about nate and kit and whether they’re into each other (it’s split fifty fifty)...
nate, kit, and sharky go out clubbing and kit tries to hook nate up with a girl at the club. (in a previous chapter, kit found out that nate had never had a serious relationship, and it’s messing with his mind) sharky is not impressed and seems pretty convinced that 1. nate won’t hook up with a random club girl and 2. nate and kit have something going on.
anyway, nate doesn’t hook up. kit complains and tells nate that he was trying to be a good wingman. nate dismisses that idea, tells kit that if he were gay he’d totally date kit, and then suggests they cuddle and go to sleep together. all... you know... platonically.
