The journey of trying is more important than if you ever manage to actually put the leg behind the head. And, just because you can achieve the physical pose doesn’t mean you’ve learned the deeper lesson of yoga. _ So if you’re working on this asana, my advice to you is to be patient and focus on the subtlety of the inner work. Find and trust your body intelligence and don’t force it. Work with good technique and no expectation.
