In ancient Greece, there was a very beautiful young man, called Ganymedes. 📍 He was admired by everyone -even the Gods themselves. One day, the father of Gods, Zeus, decided that Ganymedes deserved to live among them, so he took him to Mount Olympus as the "Aquarius": he was the Water Bearer, which in the context of the myth referred to nectar and wine rather than water.

Until that moment, though, it was Hera's daughter- Ivi- that had this role, so both mother and daughter were jealous and furious. In order to resolve this issue and to protect Ganymedes from Hera's revenge, Zeus made him a star and put him up to the Sky...That’s how he became an “eternal” symbol 🌌
