I KNOW!!!!! candice gave us that little bit of trivia on twitter (x). it reminds me of how amazing the first scene of lois and clark was on smallville. erica being all nervous yet NAILING it as lois lane. now candice and grant having just as much chemistry in their first scene on set too…

if this show takes another ten years of my life (which it technically is set up for since the future newspaper headline is from the year 2024), let’s just say i wouldn’t be too upset about it.

Clark Kent!!!

You're making me miss Smallville. :D

How I feel about this character: I adore Clark! He's my favorite and I've had my ups and downs with him during Smallville, but I felt so angry on his behalf by the end of 'Doomsday' that I realized, yes I do love him more than all the other characters. Though Lois is a very close second. He always tries to do what's right and I admire the fact that he stood solid on his 'not going to kill' stance, because it was so important. So many characters tried to change his mind or bash him for it, but he didn't (at the end of the day) let it get to him. Ugh, I have all the Clark feels. I can't even go into it.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Lois and Oliver. Yes, separately and together. I do like the idea of Clark/Bruce. I used to ship Clex until about s6, and then I drifted away from the character of Lex and the ship. And that's it. I'm very picky with him for some reason.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Clark & Chloe up till the very late seasons of the show. Then Clark & Tess in seasons 9/10.

My unpopular opinion about this character: Probably that he was in the right to walk away at the end of s8. Lois was gone, Doomsday was dead but it was Davis, the humane side that he thought he could save that killed Jimmy, and everyone else betrayed him in some form. I would've been a lot more angry in his position towards certain people, but he's obviously a better person than I am.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I would've liked to see him go on his training. Or actually get to end his relationship with Lana on proper terms, rather than them being forced apart again. There's more, I can feel it, but I can't remember.

Lois Lane!!!

For the meme, right? Just making sure. I'm just going with the SV one because well, she's the one I know best, lol :)

How I feel about this character: I love her. It was love at first watch. I mean I've always loved her since I was a kid, through an animated series I can't really remember and then later on the Christopher Reeve films, but Smallville Lois is the one closest to my heart for many reasons.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Clark, Oliver, sometimes Bruce Wayne, which is one of my few SV crossover ships. And Tess. Call me crazy but I actually ship her a little with Lana. I liked that (for the most part) they weren't pitted against one another.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Chloe, because yeah, I had problems with both the character and their relationship but Lois's fierce devotion to her and the fact that I did feel they loved each other at the end of the day strongly motivates my Chlo-Lo love. I look fondly on the s4/5 days.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't really like how they had her enter the DP. I'm glad she got there but I don't know, I was expecting ... more? And I wish the Grant plot had been scrapped when it came to Lois. I would've rather seen her developing as a reporter in s7 rather than having any romance, especially one that felt more than a little forced to me. I liked Lois/Oliver in s6 and that relationship actually furthered her career. Grant just didn't work on all angles and I felt it gave her some insecurity at some points (dating the boss and whatnot)

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wanted her to be able to resolve her feelings over what happened with Conner. He abducted and assaulted her and they brushed it all over. That really upset me. One of the shows many flaws is how they brushed over sexual assault several times. It's not okay, to put it mildly. I was not happy with that episode.
