       E·ter·nal: LASTING; WITHOUT END OR BEGINNING 

  The past week our student body and faculty have experienced what some thought was impossible. Vindex has FALLEN, and with it took away loved ones and memories no one can ever replace. And while the time has come for us to begin again, to move forward through this darkness and find that light, there are some things you need to know.

  Some questioned Directors Fury and Waller for their noted absences the past few months of school, and for the way faculty and administration were often seen scrambling for answers. And now it seems, we have them.

  Every good establishment has backup plans, a scapegoat for when things go up in smoke. And while it seemed that every safe house, base and secret location were revealed to the world, this one remained hidden.  In truth, the attack upon Vindex had been suspected for months, Fury and Waller working together to create a contingency plan not only to relocate, but to move the academy into the future due to the possibility of Von Doom striking once more along with the rising tensions of the world’s perception of supers and agents due to the Sokovia Accords.

     So plans began months back for a new academy, this one in a location no one could dispute was for anything other than what it claimed to be. By placing it in the center of a bustling city, the world could be shown that we have nothing to hide, nothing to fear. They hope to find safety in transparency, that by showing the world who these kids are and what they can do, further attacks on our soil can be prevented. It is a hope not everyone finds comfort in.

This past week while the campus recovered at the hidden base, the new campus was being completed and reinforced with top notch security for the protection of those who remained. Students who wish to go home for the summer may of course do so, but for the many who lost their homes and safe havens to these attacks, we welcome you. Move in day will occur within the day, with a chance to explore your new campus and what this entails for your futures. Room mates will be posted upon arrival as well as supplies to make this transition as smooth as possible.

Once father’s sources had reported back with the location of the Vindex population post-detonation, Krystal was made ready to depart en route to the safe house. Her mission was as follows: collect intel. Straightforward, really, given her previous ties to many of the faculty and students alike. Not that any of those connections mattered anymore, save for the sole purpose of manipulating them into her favour. And Krystal would do it, too. She would do anything if it meant appeasing her father’s wishes and satisfying her internal programming.

           It was time to fulfil her role as the ideal CADMUS clone. 

With an expression of impassivity, the Crock squared her shoulders and stepped into the safe house, eyes almost immediately adjusting from the blinding light of day to the gloomy aura of the underworld. “Hey -----” Her inner archives confirmed the known presence of a passerby. “You probably didn’t miss me, but -----” Krystal’s eyes were darkened and her tone was cold; the manifestation of detachment. “----- I’m back.”

Mateo was too busy focusing on making more gadgets to get his mind off of the situation of knowing his roommate was dead. Though they didn’t talk much at all, he still felt like it was his fault that his roommate never got out alive. Seeing a shadow in front of him, he couldn’t look at them in the eye. "Look, I’m not going to drop this, it’s too expensive. Please just leave me alone.”

“I don’t know what to do. I can’t believe it.” Foster said, staring ahead at the wall in shock.

      It hit her, once she’d seen him. Emilia had tried to deny it, tried to be optimistic and hope for the  best but then the announcement had happened, and the missing people had been brought to the safe house. But they’d also brought the bodies, it seemed. Seeing her brother---seeing Matty so lifeless was a slap to her heart. He was gone. Taken from her and their family in an instant. The sob bubbled up from within, escaping even as she clapped a hand over her mouth. She ran, out of the medical area and towards somewhere, anywhere. Once she felt less confined, the girl sunk to her knees and cried. She cried for her family and their mother and for the hollow feeling in her chest, but in that moment, she mostly cried for her brother.

                    “Lights Will Guide You Home”   

     Days have passed and the dust has begun to clear. The past week several agents and workers have worked around the clock to clear the rubble and debris away, and to get to the people still trapped inside. It was a long and tedious process, but at the time it has been cleared for the following to be released.

Over 20 people were recovered from the site, with only a few remaining unaccounted for. As much as we would like to consider it a victory, we cannot. Tonight we can now confirm the discovery of three bodies, all beyond the point of being helped. We mourn them tonight, and send our best wishes to their families.

The following bodies were recovered and are now pronounced dead:

Jace Queen, first year. Son of Felicity Smoak and Oliver Queen

Matthew Donovan, fourth year. Son of Melinda May and Phil Coulson

Amy Wayne, third year. Daughter of Diana Prince and Bruce Wayne

We now have confirmation that the following have been recovered from the bombing site and after being treated for any severe/imminent injuries will be flown to the safe house location.

We will have more breaking news as it comes in about what this means for the future of this academy but for tonight, our hearts and minds go out to everyone involved in this terrible attack. 

This is the second to last plot drop, more of an announcement than anything! The final drop and intro to the new main/academy will happen within the next day or so! Once the new main is released, we will open for apps once more.

Luna had been drifting in and out of consciousness since they had placed her in the medical wing of the safe house. She had been caught in the explosion after she had tried to rescue her cat, Mr. Bingley, from her dorm room. The ceiling had collapse on her, breaking the majority of her ribs on her right side and crushing her right leg. She had been lucky that she had not punctured her lung, according to the doctors.

She stared at the pealing paint on the white ceiling, frowning in her drugged up haze before she heard a noise at the doorway. She let out an pathetic sounding whine.

“I really want like a piece of chocolate or something. Aren’t doctors supposed to give you candy or am I mixing normal things up again?”

Natasha’s eyes scanned over the list of the presumably dead, and felt her heart stop. Two of her children on the list, and several others that she considered part of her family. She felt her world change at the thought of having lost the both of them. Two people that she had sworn that she would have never let get hurt. She would have done anything that she could to keep her children safe, and she had failed in keeping two of them safe. Now because of what she felt was her failure they were gone. Natasha heard the footsteps walking over to her but didn’t move to face them. “Give me a minute.”
