Is there anything you used to like, but now can’t stand?

Hm. I used to be a huge fan of the childhood-friends-fall-in-love trope and now it bores me at best and skeeves me out at worst, idk. I think Lily/Snape was the catalyst for that change.

In terms of fandoms, movies, shows... I loved Supernatural seasons 1-3, but then my enjoyment tapered off through seasons 4 and 5 and now I can't even consider watching it anymore. I don't block it because Jensen Ackles is beautiful and Mischa Collins is adorable, and, you know, I did love it once... but we'll never be together again.

Any fandom you're ashamed of being in?

Oh, god. Sherlock is the one that jumps to mind first, because... well, actually, it's pretty obvious. There are so many things about the show that are problematic, the showrunner does and says problematic things, and sometimes some of the fans are just... insane (goes double for the johnlock subset). And I don't mean that in the 'aw look how devoted they are'--I mean legitimately insane.

idk I'll always love the show (at least: certain aspects/certain episodes of the show), and I don't think I'd ever say I'm ashamed of being in the fandom, it's just incredibly frustrating at times.
