Luke and Leia both got their father’s taste in partners, but only in that their partners must be older than them. They are both exclusively attracted to anybody at least a day older than them, but they both know about this and accept it and make fun of each other (because it means they are also making fun of Anakin, it’s therapeutic for Leia-)
Leia: “Luke, look over there. They’re your type.”
Leia: is pointing at a wizened old man who is shorter than Yoda and probably almost as old as him too
Luke: “Leia, you cradlerobber!”
Luke: referring to the fact that Leia spoke to a woman who was three days younger than her (she didn’t even flirt with her)
Everyone else, including their partners, are very tired, but also have come to accept that this is just how life is. Except for Anakin, who still can’t believe his precious baby boy was convinced to mock him…
