I've already done this one, as well as the one asking for ten things about myself, but I don't know how to say no. 

1. My last summer: COSMOS UCSC, which is a program put on by the UCs where you stay for a month in the dorms taking classes from college professors, focusing on STEM subjects (my field was Number Theory, Logic, and Cryptology). I went immediately from that to climb Mt. Whitney, the highest summit in the US, a hike of 20 some miles that left me half dead (though the year before I backpacked 70 some miles). I want to go on the John Muir Trail this summer (top of Mt. Whitney to top of Half Dome, 200 some miles), but I think I need to get a job...

2. I (almost) single-handily gathered enough people to form a Sci-Fi Literature/Film as Literature course for my senior year, though it hasn't been confirmed yet. I'm really hoping it passes (also hoping my history teacher keeps her job and gets the course, she really wants it but it's her first year and our school has a reputation of canning left and right).

3. I'm an Eagle Scout. Yes, Boy Scouts is a horrible institution, at least in the way their run. BUT it looks great on college apps, resumes, etc. and I've made plenty of speeches on equality/bigotry/homophobia/transphobia and trust me I've pissed off plenty. 

4. I am one of the unfortunate statistical teen drivers who got in an accident in their first year with a license. I was in a prius at a blind intersection. A white pick up truck zooms through, I don't stop in time and we end up in a T. Not a mark on the truck. The entire front end of the prius is smashed in, just enough so that another inch would have trapped me in my seat, if it didn't take my legs first.

5. Speaking of miracles, or accidents, or whatever, I've fallen off a cliff. Only 30-40 feet, but nontheless. My first boy scout camp alone (which my second childhood dog was being put down as I left for it, making it a very hard ride to the camp), my friends and I were being stupid on this hill. At the top of it was a large pile of rocks, and being who we were, we needed to make it into our secret base asap. The side we approached on was great, it'd be perfect for throwing rocks at the other troops. In fact, the other side had a great view of another troop's camp, looking at it from above(this is the ledge, about 30' up). I decided to get a little closer only to realize that the rock face we had been crawling on was covered in an extremely wet moss on this side. I slipped, fell, bumped against the side of the cliff, hit my foot on a large rock on the ground, spraining my ankle, but sliding me into a tree rather than directly onto the ground. It hurt. 

5 more done. Bam. 20 so far. Keep in mind I only have 120 followers so I can really only do this 9 more times. These are fun though!
