100 Mile Finisher 📣 I'm not much of a runner but I managed to get off the line before the XR that I parked beside. It was utter mayhem with the crashed bikes and sketchy riders. I was really getting into a groove and felt like I was into the "A" riders until between mile 6 and 7. Some donkey landed on my left handlebars from behind and took us both out while I was running in 5th gear. We were there for 15 minutes straightening things out. The guy held my front wheel and I twisted the bars. No result. Had to lay it over and jump on the front wheel to somewhat straighten it out. Really I was pretty lucky to get out with only a really bruised leg I can't walk on plus broken parts. I just tried to squeeze the bike to take pressure off the left leg. Met Tony Allen near the finish and had to double him back to the pit as he ran out of fuel. Thanks to the Canadian pit crew for helping me refuel, take my rynopower / water and ditch my jacket. My second lap was better and smoother and I finished 53 in the 40 class. Happy to get 2 laps.
