I never shared this but here's a Lenopan Druid I played in a B10 dnd oneshot
Can’t even describe how I love her
This is my oc, Charlene FoxWell.
This may not be the finished product for her because I am unsure, but this is V3 of her redesigns!
That moment when your combined power of dyslexia and Engrish lead you to love! Or well technically they both went in blind dating so they already had some expectation to fall for each other lmao-!
This is inspired by the time I kept saying lenopan instead of loboan for my oc to which I just ended up making him a lenopan loboan hybrid, these just so happen to be his parents :P
they're not currently important enough to have a name but a very far future sequel below let me introduce to you the lead singer of Thing/s Jed recounting this tale to keyboardist manic pixie nightmare sparkle dog cat girl citrakayah Rixie who's thinking that Jed is a puppy made of sludge-
Celestialsapien Ben and Lenopan Lucy without their human disguise!
I was planning to do more (ft. Anodite Gwen) but I scrapped it. Maybe I'll circle back someday?
My first time drawing a Lenopan!
I really did try with the colours to get Charlene's (Made by the lovely @carlinaarts) palette correct, but the layering did fudge the patterns in the process
Random: Along the river system that Earth's Lenopan community originated in, one changes their family name if they start a new household. So, if you move off the family land and get land of your own? You change the name. But, you don't- excepting proper fucking 'dropping all association with you like a hot rock' situations- choose a different name, you just adjust the one you started with.
For example- you start off in the Mann household. You decide 'fuck this, I'm moving across town'. You would change your name to something like South-Mann or some such. Altering the name to showcase that you are related, but your household is the ones over there.
This isn't always straightforward, of course. Like mentioned before you may change your name entirely to separate yourself from your kin. Or maybe you aren't moving across town and instead are moving moving to an entirely different area and then you may or may not end up changing your name. Like, if you move down there and you're the only 'Mann' household you may keep the name, but then a great-niece or something may grab some land in town years later and since there's already a 'Mann' household she may take on 'New-Mann' or 'Field-Mann' or some such to differentiate.
Because at the end of the day that's really the point of the change is so that, when you have multiple branches of the same family in a location, you have a quick way of differentiating them without anybody forgetting you're kin anytime soon.
Due to this whole process, there's a lot of family names that come from the same thing. You can have like seven old, wildly disparate names that, when you look into the history, all come from branching off the same family. Like, you could have the South-Manns and the Lake-Manns and the River-Manns and over time those could become something like 'Oumn', 'Laban', and 'Rian'.
