So my friend, my buddy, my pal, mi amiga, my darling raven, @lenoreofraven I just remembered your allergy AU and I kinda want Marinette to have my reactions to my allergies ~ Me: Oh, I can’t have that, I’m allergic to blueberries. Person A: Oh damn, can you not have it touching or...? Me: Well I can certainly be in the same room, but I can’t eat it. But I won’t die from it! My throat just swells up a little as if to say “maybe we shouldn’t eat this, hmm“ so I can still breathe! Or my lips/mouth gets a bit numb but both feelings are gone within half an hour : D Person B: What the fu- NO, you shouldn’t eat it! Me: Whaaaaat, I just test it every now and again to see if I’m still allergic. Like every few years. It’s not like I’m like my sister with her seafood allergy. ~ Needless to say, I can see Marinette for some reason being the same way and going “Oh cool! This is a new reaction! I’ve never had my lips go numb before!” I promise not to ingest blueberries for the next year???

Vengeance, Part 1

This is written, with permission, for @lenoreofraven‘s allergy AU. At first, I wanted to write something with a happy ending, but that will have to come later. [Don’t worry, it will come later ;-) I have plans] [also @if-you-give-a-chat-a-cookie wanted to be tagged]

Adrien found Marinette crying right outside the bathroom. She had one hand over her stomach and was curled up as tight as she could.

“Hey,” he hesitated to touch her. “Is it bad again?”

Looking up slowly, Marinette tried to wipe away her tears. Adrien quietly offered a tissue.

“Yeah,” a sob broke through the word. “And I don’t know why. I was so careful! Everything was sealed, I washed my hands, I even got a disposable fork. I don’t know what I did wrong.”

Adrien sat down beside her quietly. Although he tried not to show it, he was angry. He knew who must be behind this.

He swallowed his anger though, instead focusing on his friend.

“Do you want to go home?”

“I’ve missed too many classes already.”

They fell into silence again. After a moment, Adrien put a hand on Marinette’s back and started rubbing it in small circles.

It had been two horrible weeks. Every day, no matter how careful they were, Marinette somehow ingested gluten and spent the rest of the day in agony, with painful abdominal cramps, headaches, and fatigue. According to Marinette, Lila and Alya had confronted her about refusing to eat some snacks that Lila brought. When Marinette tried to explain her gluten allergy, Lila accused her of making it up and started crying. After that, everything had gone downhill. Even after seeing Marinette in pain for days, the rest of the class refused to believe that her allergy was real.

Adrien was sick of it. Seeing his friend in so much physical and emotional pain made him sick to his stomach. But as always, he shoved his anger and frustration deep down in his heart.

“Did you say disposable fork?” He asked suddenly.

“Yeah,” Marinette croaked out, “For my chicken.”

“Where’d you get the fork from?”

“Cafeteria kitchen. New container.” Marinette was too tired from the pain to talk in full sentences.

Adrien stifled a gasp. Earlier that day, he had seen Lila and Alya charming one of the kitchen staff. And messing with one of the fork containers.

“They wouldn’t,” he breathed.

“Huh?”

“Nothing.” He stood up slowly. “You should really go home Marinette. There’s only one more hour left and you look like you’re in a lot of pain.”

Marinette looked up at him, about to protest, but then nodded. Adrien gritted his teeth. If she had agreed that quickly it must be really bad.

After sending Marinette home in his limo, Adrien went on the hunt. His target: Alya, Marinette’s supposed ‘best friend’. He found her in the courtyard, about to head back to class.

“Alya.” His voice was deadly quiet.

She barely spared him a glance. “What’s up, Adrien?”

“Please tell me you haven’t been poisoning Marinette.”

Alya made eye contact nervously, but said nothing.

“Alya.” Adrien desperately tried to remain calm, but his eyesight was blurring with...anger? Tears?

Alya looked vaguely scared for a second, then steeled her gaze. “No. We haven’t. Because Marinette is just trying to get attention.”

Adrien opened his mouth, but was interrupted.

“Don’t deny it!” Alya’s voice was growing stronger, “You and I both know that Marinette is jealous of Lila. She can’t handle the fact that people like Lila better than her. So now she’s made up some allergy and we’re just proving that she’s making it all up!” Her stance held a virtuous anger that made it hard for Adrien to keep pretending that he was keeping it together.

“She’s not making it up,” Adrien was getting louder too. “What you’re doing is really hurting her.”

No remorse showed in Alya’s eyes. “I’ve given her so many chances to apologize to Lila,” she said angrily. “Marinette deserves to have her lies about an allergy exposed. And you’ll see!”

As tears started rolling down Adrien’s cheeks, he couldn’t stop picturing Marinette, curled up by the bathroom, in obvious pain, without her ‘bestie’ by her side. It was this image that finally made him snap.

“LILA IS THE LIAR!” he screamed in Alya’s face, “AND YOU’RE AN IDIOT FOR NOT SEEING THAT!”

Alya had almost fallen down from the shock of seeing Adrien Agreste lose his precious cool. She backed up against the railing, her mouth open.

Adrien wasn’t done. He wasn’t shouting anymore, but he did not lose any intensity or anger. “You have been poisoning Marinette with gluten for two weeks, ignoring her pain and suffering, taking orders from a compulsive liar, and you still dare to pretend that you’re a good person?! Your evilness and stupidity amazes me!”

Turning on his heel, Adrien ran away. He brushed at the hot tears on his face and ignored whatever Alya was trying to say behind him. He didn’t stop running until he was at least a block away from the school.

Adrien bit his fist, choking down tears. He didn’t notice the dark purple butterfly until it was too late.

“Hello…” the voice in his head paused as if in surprise before continuing, “Hello, Vengeance. I am Hawk Moth. I can give you the power to protect your loved ones and stop those who dare to hurt them. In return, I nee-”

“I know, Hawk Moth.” Adrien growled, “And I’m ready.”

Lenore of Fairy (Bread)

“Say Sprinkles and see what happens. . .”

@lenoreofraven was right. Someone would get akumatized over fairy bread.

I just really like the Raven costume but with a sprinkles 100s & 1000s magical cape. It’s a simple idea that can complete itself with tiny bits of colors!

So< I was inspired by @symwinter ‘s Akumanette idea that was inspired by @lenoreofraven ‘s “Adrien Just Wants A Friend “ oneshot.

I wanted Dollinette to look a little unnerving, so her eyes are too sparkly and I gave her a dress inspired by porcelain doll dresses, basically trying to make her look as doll-like as possible. I was tempted to give her ringlet curls to really push it, but decided not to because then she wouldn’t look very Marinette.

DollMakers outfit is inspired by a circus ringmasters outfit, though I’m not terribly happy with how it turned out. She has longer hair than her civilian form, but it wasn’t stated how long, so I went with Samara from the Ring length. I might redesign her outfit later if I really feel so inclined.

Mygalomorphae has a simple design, black bodysuit with her gloves and boots having spiderweb patterns, the elongated canine’s to resemble spider mandibles, no irises/pupils, sharper-looking hair, and a pointed mask.

Here's a challenge! Mayura Marinette AU by lenoreofraven! The awake but traumatised ending! There's two endings you see that one and one where she's in a coma. But the awake but traumatised ending is a bit sad!

Either lots of therapy is needed or Hawkmoth, who realizes how much he fricked up when he sees one of his most loyal allies this hurt (the man may seem emotionless, but he’s doing the whole thing because of his own sadness, which last I checked is an emotion) pulls a Timebreaker and fixes his mistakes by going back.

Vengeance, Part 2

Marinette woke up with a jerk. After taking a charcoal pill for the gas from her accidental gluten ingestion, she had tried to take a much-needed nap. But the sounds outside her window were too loud to let her sleep. That, and the the tiny voice next to her ear.

“Marinette!” Tikki shouted, “Wake up!”

Blinking groggily, Marinette tried to focus. “What is it, Tikki?”

“There’s an akuma!”

In an instant, Marinette was wide awake. “Spots on!” she shouted, and was on her rooftop as Ladybug within ten seconds.

Confused civilians ran rampant throughout the street. Every so often a beam of red light would shoot out from a rooftop across the street. When it hit a civilian near Marinette, she paid close attention. What was this akuma’s power?

But nothing happened. After a short scream, the man who had been hit looked around in confusion. He patted himself down, finding nothing wrong.

“Innocent,” proclaimed a booming voice from the rooftop that the beam of light had come out of. “You have done no wrong to Marinette. Go in peace.”

Marinette started at the sound of her name, but continued her surveillance. Once it was apparent that nothing was about to happen to him, the civilian ran away.

Another beam of red light shot down from the rooftop. This time, when it hit a figure in the distance, they immediately fell down, clutching their left arm and screaming in pain. Marinette squinted, trying to recognize the civilian hit. She moved closer and the form of her classmate Ivan Bruel became clear. Although Ivan looked to be in great pain, Marinette hesitated to go to him before she was able to find out the akuma’s powers.

“Guilty!” the voice called out. “You are responsible for breaking Marinette’s arm 2 years ago.”

“It was an accident,” Ivan yelled through his tears. “I didn’t mean to hurt her!”

“Irrelevant!” the voice said angrily, “You need to be punished. You need to feel the suffering you inflicted on Marinette. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth!”

With a wince, Marinette remembered that day, two years ago. It had definitely been an accident. Ivan had bumped her at the top of the stairs at the school entrance and she had fallen down them, breaking her left arm in the process. He had felt terrible and had brought her chocolate every day for weeks while she healed. He did not deserve to have his arm broken in return.

A red and black figure jumped from the opposite rooftop, moving too fast for Marinette to consider following. Her stomach still hurt and there was Ivan to attend to.

She let herself down onto the street and approached Ivan. He was crying in pain and Marinette’s heart went out to him. The Miraculous Cure would eventually fix his wounds, but in the meantime there was nothing Ladybug could do. She went to him anyway.

Brushing the hair out of his eyes softly, Marinette said, “It’s going to be okay.” He looked up at her. She continued, “I’m going to go defeat the akuma now. You’ll be okay soon.” She gave him her best smile.

“I’m so sorry,” he whispered.

Marinette frowned. She wanted to comfort Ivan more, but there was an akuma to deal with. Ignoring her protesting headache, Marinette swung down the street in pursuit of the red and black figure.

…

As soon as the TV announced another akuma attack, Alya had grabbed her phone and rushed outside, hoping to catch the upcoming fight as it happened. She ran in the direction of the last reported akuma activity, which was only three blocks away. As she ran, she opened her phone and began recording herself, uploading it live.

“Hello, Paris!” she grinned at her phone. “Alya here, coming to you live on the way to a current akuma attack. No sign of Ladybug or Chat Noir yet, but stay tuned! This reporter will be on the scene in mo--Aaagh!”

Alya tripped, phone flying out of her hands, as a boy in black and red ran into her. She fell onto the ground, scraping her palms and knees on the asphalt. She looked up, seeing a blurry figure. Her glasses must have fallen off when she was hit.

“Alya Cėsaire,” the black and red smudge said.

Her heart was beating wildly. Alya scrambled for her glasses, but found her phone instead. “Yes?” she answered bravely, holding up the phone, which was still streaming, “You’re on air. Do you mind getting interviewed for the Ladyblog?”

The akuma laughed coldly, “Fine. I’ll take this time to tell all of your followers about your heinous actions.”

“Excuse me?” Alya asked, barely keeping her voice from trembling. Her left hand finally found her glasses on the ground beside her. The glasses shook as she put them on her face.

Before her stood Hawkmoth’s newest akumatized victim. His skin was ashen gray, but everything else was either red or black. Sharp spikes stood on his shoulders and a stylized red eye was printed the front of his black shirt.

Even though his hair was coal black and almost everything about his appearance was different, Alya immediately recognized him.

“Adrien,” she breathed.

The akuma ignored her, instead continuing his rant to the camera. “This girl has been poisoning her best friend for two weeks. She has deliberately tainted food and utensils with gluten, which her friend is allergic to. Because of your leader’s deliberate actions, Marinette has been in pain for weeks.” His red eyes flickered to hers and she winced at his disdainful glance.

“That’s….” her hands and feet stung from the road rash, but she continued, “that’s not true.”

“It is!” Vengeance’s voice seemed to be magnified in his rage. He raised an arm, which had a blaster attached to the wrist. “And now you will be punished for your evil actions.”

Alya closed her eyes tight.

TWANG!

Her eyes flew open to see Vengeance knocked to the ground and Ladybug standing beside her, a grim look on her face.

“Get up,” Ladybug said to her. “Go, now!”

Alya scrambled to her feet, checked to make sure her phone was still streaming, then ran away from the action. Not too far away though. She turned back to watch.

Vengeance did not stay on the ground for long. Soon, he and Ladybug were locked in battle. Skillfully, Ladybug dodged or blocked every beam of light that Vengeance shot at her. Unfortunately Vengeance was light on his feet too and was able to stay away from Ladybug’s yoyo and grasping hands.

Alya gleefully recorded all of it, hiding behind a park bench.

“Ladybug saved me once again!” she whispered to her phone. “No sign of Chat yet, and Ladybug hasn’t used her Lucky Charm. For those just joining us--”

“No!” Ladybug’s shout made Alya look up and see a beam of light coming straight at her. There was no time to move. The beam of light hit Alya square in the face.

Liar vs Liar

This was inspired by a dream that was INSPIRED by @lenoreofraven ‘s Evil Kwami AU. Except I got Evil Adrien. Let’s hope I did alright! ~ Masterlist AO3 Patreon ~ A man is never more truthful than when he acknowledges himself a liar.” - Mark Twain ~ It started off when he was but a small child, woefully innocent and moldable by the adults about him; Emilie took it upon herself to guide her son in the art of deception, of hiding secrets from others. Secrets were always fun to keep for children, Adrien never minded that they were deceiving his father or Nathalie or any of the others. His mother praised him on his abilities, for them to sneak around.

“No father, we were just practicing our Chinese.” They hadn’t, they had snuck for ice cream. “Yes, I love playing with Chloe.” She was a meanie who bullied even him. It was simple deceptions, little ones no one took notice of or called them out on. If Adrien so happened to be too overbooked to play with Chloe, oh well. It wasn’t like his mother cancelled those scheduled assignments and showed him more interesting things. It was evading his father’s inquires of whereabouts. Oh the museum, the park for the modeling assignment, the fencing academy, always good places to fib about, his mother always there to back up the lie. Lies got daring as he got older, smarter. He could sneak out of the impending mansion by ten, could access his parent’s bank account for spare money easily. Emilie only grew prouder of her son, Gabriel feared the freedom he granted Adrien would cause him harm. It became harder to do some acts, but he would play his part of the caged bird. And then his mother vanished.

It had been hard, suddenly missing the one person who shared his ability in lying, shared his distaste of restraint in his life, shared the growing dislike of his father. Of course he noticed his father closing off from him, noticed him not giving two shits about his only family, only giving Nathalie the time he so wanted. Why was HE never enough?! Why wasn’t his mother?! School had always been one of his biggest wants in life, to actually be free of the pristine prison and join kids his age, see if he could use his skill to charm and keep them as friends…the only friend he had was the blond harpy and her shrill voice. Plagg was a welcomed change in his life. Hawkdouche? Not so much. But if it meant he was a hero, he’d gladly take it. He always loved watching those cartoons, sure he villains were always much cooler but this Hawkass was just plain creepy and USED people’s hurt against them. Not cool. Thus began his new life as Adrien Agreste, naïve and innocent teen model, and Chat Noir, teen cat themed hero of Paris. Marinette…was a special case for him. She was smart and called him out on the gum-though it was all on Chloe-and he had to hand it to her, not many people would stand up against someone rich and powerful enough to squash any kind of chance she had in the world. So, he tried not to use his skill on her-other than covering for his escapes as Chat Noir-and genuinely tried to be friendly. She was apparently nervous around him, always stuttering or being an adorable klutz, but she was never once mean towards him, never once made him feel bad. So, his sweet princess was special. Of course, Ladybug would forever and always hold his heart. She was nervous at first, a true display of a typical hero on their first go, before she allowed herself to bloom and become Lady Luck. She called out Hawkmoth, stood up for Paris, and saved the day-and his butt- nearly every week! She was AMAZING and he loved her, would always love her. His two special ladies. Lila was a definite surprise to their algorithm. She was a liar, a really BAD liar, but he sat through her stories and feigned interest about the idea of a heroine blood line. She couldn’t even keep her damn story straight, saying she was Ladybugs’ best friend-definitely not, that title went to HIM- and then talking shit about her saying she was jealous. It was stupid and her skills were lacking, but her charisma likely saved her, as well as quick thinking. He thought that after that day, it would mean less time to deal with the pathetic liar. Fate enjoyed letting him feel all of his badluck. She was an annoying thorn in his side, his charade hard pressed to slip each time she made a lie, each time she caused nearly the entire class to melt in the palm of her hand. Not his princess, his princess-like his lady, called her out on her bullshit. And like all bullshit, she drew quick excuses explanations out of her ass. He hated it, hated how it tore at him and Marinette alike. But she was a smart, tough cookie, they’d get through it. Lila enjoyed pissing him off, though she didn’t know that. But she likely knew she was pissing off Marinette, loved to play victim and turn the class on his poor princess, forced her into the back ALONE, and her predatory smile towards him only made him want to slip the mask off. She likely didn’t know who she was messing with. So he tried to play his act, tried to calm her down, let her know he knew she was lying, and he was willing to be her friend! The others would be too if she admitted the truth, it wasn’t too late! She stormed off. Chameleon was a hell of a villain to fight, nothing compared to Volpina or Trouble Maker but the record stands; he coaxed Marinette out of calling her out, reassured her they should take the high road and he’d back her up. Like hell he would let his princess suffer. But if only he knew. He visited not three days later, happening to be passing by when he saw her upset on the balcony. That no good, horrible lying bitch had threatened Marinette, told her she’d separate her from all her friends, how she was already starting the plan by alienating Mari from a girls’ hang out because she apparently bullied Lila. He held her close, reassured her things would get better. Maybe not tonight, maybe not the next day, but it would. He got a macaron for his words. The little liar found him leaning against her locker that Monday after classes, most everyone gone and the locker room deserted. “I guess we need to talk.” “Oh Adrien, have you finally realized we’re meant to be?” She practically purrs, though she acted more on the shy act. God, she was pathetic. “No, no, nothing like that, sorry.” He reassures with an ‘apologetic’ smile. “I wanted to talk to you about Marinette.” A flicker of a scowl settled over her expression, letting him see her true feelings towards the noirette, before it shifted to one of feigned hurt. “She’s such a bully! She’s called me such awful names, Adrien!” Her ‘tears’ never fell as she cried into her hands. “Please tell me you don’t believe her!” Moving away from the lockers, he gently tuts at her, shaking his head. “Now, we both know that’s all a lie.” He frowns at her before releasing a sigh, running his fingers through his golden hair. “Honestly, you think I’D believe you over her? Our everyday ladybug?” His scoff was followed by sinister laugh, sounding wrong coming from him. It always did. He should’ve been a villain, he had the laugh down. “Your lying is subpar, pathetic even, I’m surprised none of our class figured you out.” He smiles ruefully, shaking his head before feigning a whisper to her, “But they’re not the brightest lot, are they?” Her shocked expression filled him with sick pleasure. “A-Adrien?” “Honestly, I was going to leave you alone for your lies. It’s only a matter of google, a slip of the tongue, your mother visiting, and POOF! All of this kingdom you’ve obtained GONE.” He shook his head, beginning to walk around her, a cat toying with it’s prey. “You’ve got charm and quick thinking, I’ll give you that but you’re bad at keeping stories straight. At least work on that if you want to be believable. First thing mother taught me. Put enough truth in a lie so it can live.” He hums, peering down at her. “You could’ve kept your little kingdom, could’ve kept lying to our gullible classmates but then you went after Mari…and no one goes after my princess.” He didn’t realize he growled until she released a shocked gasp. Clearing his throat, he continued on, “Now, I can’t exactly expose you. Then I’d been berated for not backing up Mari and not telling my friends the truth, but I can leave some bread crumbs.” He hums, smirking as she began to look nervous. Seems the fox was nothing but a rat. “You may think you’re a liar, but you’re NOTHING compared to me. You make Chloe seem believable. But, go ahead. Tell someone we had this conversation. Go on and spread those lovely little lies you adore, attempting to ruin my and Marinette’s reputation. But then you’ll see what a TRUE liar can achieve.” “Y-You wouldn’t dare. I could ruin you, make all your friends leave you. Make your precious PRINCESS leave you.” She tries to bluff, her hands shaking, her eyes flicking back towards the exit for escape. Adrien felt the wild thrill of the hunt run through him, the kind of exhilaration he got from catching an Akuma, his eyes narrowing as he smirked. “Try me. Leave her the fuck alone.” Standing back straight, he slipped his mask back on, giving her the cheeriest of smiles, the one he knew people melted at due his ‘innocence’. “Glad we had this conversation! I’ll see you tomorrow, Lila, don’t forget to study for the quiz, I wrote down those notes for you for a reason.” Off he went, leaving the broken girl behind.
