coming to the end of the month for my ‘july priorities’. i think i’ll stick with a few set goals for each month. there are a lot of boundaries that i put into place to maintain my focus, and it helps my days to feel more guided without becoming overwhelming with a long to-do list [of which i am definitely capable of doing]. it’ll be time to make one for august soon. 🍃

finished the N5 level of Bunpo earlier this week [besides the two locked lessons because I rarely pay for learning services...]. i am feeling more confident about verb conjugations [read: i cannot read hiragana well still so everything blends together], and adjectival inflections [i think the app calls it conjugation]. neat stuff! 💡
2.23 ~ journaled a lot today and made some revelations that i’m going to cherish for a long time to come. studied french for a while too, and now i’m setting out to finish 100 Amazing Facts About the Negro since i finished all my work evaluations this morning. it’s been a nice black history month for me, only makes sense to finish it strong. also, i forgot to show the little succulents i bought two weeks ago; they look so forlorn, i’m tempted to give them water. 🌧

2.26 | ⛈ horrid weather on the way today, but wouldn’t know it by my sunny and clean room. hoping to get an important work assignment done today, or i won’t be able to tackle it again for two weeks [really don’t want that]. listened to some more of a french podcast while running errands and will continue on my commute in a bit. can you believe i’ve gone through 328 words already? it’s officially less than 300 until i’ve finished! 🌬
