Balan Wonderworld Novel Scene Interpretation! Specifically Pg.70 xp! . This piece is about a year old, so though I think I could've done better on the composition, it still fits since at the end of the day, these are stages, so having that front view where everything is clear makes sense :p! I got inspired to make this since I was struggling to think of ideas for fanart, so, I turned to the novel to find a scene I could somehow visualize! I'm surprised it hasn't really be done beyond redraws of the pre-existing illustrations in the novel and the final scene with Balan and Lance (which I think was pretty well written on it's own, but in my opinion, kind of contradicts the message of the book? That's a tangent for another day). Hopefully this piece can somehow inspire fellow Balan Wonderworld fans to do the same? I'd love so see people's interpretations of the novel! . Looking back on this piece, I probably should've edited the phrase since the way it was written kind of comes off as awkward, especially if it were in the context of a movie or show :,D. . Anyways, I had fun drawing this! I love drawing the inhabitants, and I wish they got some recognition beyond the Maestros, Emma, and Leo. Even then, the inhabitants in this scene are much more popular compared to the others, so I'll have to make art to give them some recognition too xp! .
