I enjoy characters, using drugs or pills in fanfiction. Yeah, it’s my guilty pleasure…
I’m not sure, but it might have started with the "Danny Phantom" fanfiction, where Danny constantly suffered from great pain due to his endless fights and thanks to it took painkillers. I borrowed that concept for my own fanfic, he-he /evil diabolical laugh/
Later, Leo Walker was using a heavy sedative in my story "Ra's Tomb" after a car accident had taken the lives of his parents and siblings (and Key was mad at him because of it, heh).
And what about Mark? He seems too calm given every shit that has happened to him. I have a theory that chamomile tea is fine for Viltrumites and Humans, but it acts like a powerful sedative on hybrids. However, no one knew about that affect because this type of hybrid is quite rare. So, Mark might also be on chamomile tea 🍵.
Anyway, I really like this trope!
