Melmel I must ask of you a Question. I note that Ash is commonly shipped with every companion girl from every region, but the relationships themselves aren't super different from each other. You primarily rebagel Ash/Serena. Is this a ship that first appealed to you over the others because Unova is your home region, or is it more supported / more compelling in canon than the others are? :O
(I ask because I am always biased towards Sinnoh and Hoenn, because those are my home regions, and now I am wondering since you know all the Unova lore.)
It's unrelated to my love for Unova because Serena is from Kalos actually :p but I will happily tell you what I love about the ship regardless!
Before I was an Amourshipper, I was a Serena lover. She's my favorite Pokeani character who is so so so important to me for many reasons—that's a separate conversation, but long story short she singlehandedly got me back into watching the anime again back when XY was airing because she looked interesting to me, and the more I saw the more I loved her, and wanted to learn about everything that makes her her. And the biggest, most well-known talking point there is that she was the first traveling companion in a looooong time to have a 100% straightforward, obvious, canonical crush on Ash! It's a very important part of her character because his boundless optimism and tenacity helps her through many of her setbacks and inspires to pursue her dreams (unfortunately there are many people out there who will insist that her crush is her ONLY defining character trait but trust me when I say they could not be more wrong. I've watched XY 10+ times. I can and WILL pull out plenty of examples to the contrary if prompted). And despite AG-and-onwards Ash having the romantic intuition of a brick, he actually has a reasonable amount of chemistry with her! She was the first (and possibly the only but don't quote me on that) companion he outright ASKED to travel with him instead of them just deciding to tag along (for reasons that may or may not be related to bike electrocution), he's incredibly supportive of her dreams and cares a lot for her well-being, and when he faces his own difficulties she's often the one who helps him get back on his feet! Often this comes in the form of encouraging words, on rarer occasions it's a snowball to the face because he's being a dick, but all the same, it works, and he's always grateful to her for it! And then of course there's the Literal Kiss Scene at the end of the season but honestly that's just icing on the cake at this point. Symbolic of how he taught her courage yadda yadda. One of the writers (storyboarders? idk) said that scene was deliberately written to give the viewer the impression that the two could possibly get together eventually, so suffice to say: Yes, the ship Does have a lot of backing to it! And I love it so so much <3
It's far from the only Ash ship I have—Ash is a very shippable character in general. I'm also partial to Pearlshipping (Ash/Dawn), Diodeshipping (Ash/Clemont), and TrustedPartnershipping (Ash/Gladion), among several others. But Amour is definitely one of my favorites, hence why I reblog it a lot xD

Hello! I was wondering, how did you get into Mother 3? I've been wanting to either play it or watch a playthrough, but I know it wasn't released in English. Hey there! Actually, one of my pals from high school got me into it c: He recommended it to me and got me all set up with the game and everything so I could play it!
And oooh sure! If you wanna play it yourself all you’ll need is an emulator to run it–most people use Visual Boy Advance, you can download it here under the section that says “download” (there’s an option that has Beta3 at the end–get that one)!
And the only other thing is the game ROM, the official English translation–which is here! There’s a download link right at the top of the page for that one ^^

Sinners (fantastic cinematography, artistry, acting, and music. absolutely amazing portrayal of vampires)
Superman 2025 (like come on?? it’s such a great movie, i’m a sucker for such a good message. being punk rock is being kind.)
Disney Channels Theme: A History Mystery (technically not a movie but it has the run time of one. such a great documentary, one that i always go back to watch when i need to feel something.)
