fitzhuntingbird + "Sorry to wake you"? :)

“Hey, sorry to wake you up.”

“Wha’?”

He opens one eye, and rubs at it, but still the image makes no sense to him, because Fitz is smiling at him from his right and above, instead of being asleep to his left.

“Do you know where my sneakers are? I can’t find them and Bobbi says that I absolutely can not,” he pulls a face, and Hunter blinks, because he is still not toally convinced that he is not dreaming, “go running without them.”

That makes him sit up on the bed because, Fitz and running are two words that just… don’t go together in the same sentence.

“Why are you going running, love?”

“So Bobbi doesn’t have to go alone and you don’t have to wake up, either.” Fitz pouts. “But well, that is ruined now.”

Hunter beacons him to come closer, and when Fitz sits on the edge of the bed, he scoots closer until he can cuddle against Fitz’s side.

“Aw, you would endure running just so I can get more sleep? That is love.”

Fitz kisses the top of his head, and smiles softly after. Hunter just closes his eyes and lets himself be engulfed in his warmth and scent, the way he so rightfully deserves.

“It sure is, Hunter.”

“Hey, Hunter, let go of my running partner.”

“Sod off, Barbara, you know he is mine during the mornings.” He makes grabby hands for her despite his words, and she sighs but sits on the other side of him anyway.

“Well, not today.”

“Come on, Fitz, ditch her, I’m already awake so you don’t need to go.”

“Sorry, Hunter, but I promised.”

Hunter then turns to Bobbi, and pokes her in the nose.

“You see, going running with you just to keep you company. That is love.”

Bobbi smiles, and stretches a hand across Hunter’s chest to stroke at Fitz’s cheek.

“I know. He’s a babe.”

Hunter pushes at both their waists to get them both to get up.

“Your sneakers are under the bed, Fitz. Now go before I throw up from such sickeningly sweet demonstrations this early in the morning.”

Fitz just laughs, but Bobbi leans over to kiss him on the cheek and at the same time punch him on the shoulder.

“We expect pancakes when we come back.”

He pouts, more to get them both to kiss him one last time than for anything else.

“Now you are just doing it to ruin the surprise!”

Fitz Positivity Week: Season 1

Hi everyone :D

Based on this ask, I'm doing a Leo-Fitz-Positivity-Week starting today.

I will list all the great (and small!) helpful/kind/inventive/etc things Fitz did for his friends (and people in general he encountered) throughout the seasons, starting today with Season 1 :D

The other seasons will follow the next few days, each day for one season and at the end a masterpost consisting all of them.

Let's get started :D

Season 1:

·     Fitz worked tirelessly to save Mike Peterson and developed the Night-Night rifle that carried Simmons Dendro-Toxin.

·     He carried Skye's (Daisy's) things into her bunk and he and Simmons were the ones that were the most excited for her to join the bus and were the ones that welcomed her.

·     He risked his own health and safety so he could assist Simmons so she could create an anti-serum against the deadly virus she got infected with and made the injection device to deliver the anitserum.

·     Even though at this point he had no experience in the field whatsoever and didn’t even know how to skydive he was willing to risk it without a second thought so he could save Simmons when she jumped out of the plane.

·     He tried to share his sandwich with Ward.

·     He refused to leave Ward behind during their mission even though Ward insisted.

·     He also made sure that he and Ward got out of that bar unscathed and made friends with the bar owner and her friends and immediately cared for them (can I just say: I wouldn’t mind for Martha and Vlad to make a reappearance ;)).

·     He made sure to correct the weight of the Night-Night pistol by that ounce even though he was obviously irritated at first with Ward’s pedantic request.

·     He also tripled the stopping power of the Night-Night gun/ICERs.

·     He (and the rest of the team) worked tirelessly to get Coulson back. He and Simmons made sure Skye had the burner phone, helped her get out of the Bus and made sure that May and Ward were properly armed with weapons against the Clairvoyant and his goons (AKA Hydra)!

·     All of his interactions with Donnie in Seeds. He bonds with him, tells him of his own loneliness that he felt at first when he joined the Academy, encouraging Donnie that eventually he'd find a friend and helped him with his inventions, complimenting him, telling him that they are brilliant and that he should show them to his supervisors, tries to help him even after he figured out that Donnie only used him and after Seth died he tried to comfort him.

·     What I also loved about that episode is that he tells Donnie that he thinks that Jemma is smarter than him (I find that especially endearing because Jemma and him are always so competitive with each other, trying to best each other in terms of who is the smartest of the two).

·     He gave his ICERs to Jemma and Skye in 1x13 leaving him without weapons.

·     He figured out the location of and got the GH-325 that saved Skye.

·     He was the one that insisted that they go back to the Hub and save Simmons.

·     He stood up to Garrett under death threat.

·     He saved May's life shooting that Hydra goon during the take-over of the Hub.

·     He helped Coulson take down Garrett and he and the rest of the team took back the Hub.

·     He stayed fiercely loyal to Coulson after the Hydra takeover

·     Fitz was the last defender of Ward, pleading with him to be decent until the very end and the last one to believe that Ward had to have some good in him. „I don’t believe that people are born evil."

·     He even tried to take down Garrett with the EMP so that Ward could be free of him.

·     And last but not least for Season 1: He insisted that Simmons take the oxygen and was ready to sacrifice his own life so that she could live.

And you can also just add general things you like about Fitz, be it the way Fitz helped the team, nice gestures Fitz does but also character traits you like, etc.
