sori wasn’t the biggest fan of animals, nor of helping. when sori saw someone else staring up at a tree she decided to look too, and then without realizing she’d stopped walking, staring at the cat in the tree wondering why it would go up when it couldn’t get down. and when the man who was originally staring at the cat noticed her, she felt like she was captured to stay put and find a way to get down that cat. now that she’d acknowledges it’s existence (and been caught in doing so) she felt that she had to help it.
sori wasn’t a big fan of animals, mostly because they were stupid, and sori already had enough of stupidity with her brother in her life. sometimes she questioned how they were siblings, and then she remembered he’s adopted, but she continues to question his stupidity. she’s always felt like in his shadow, she’s always wanted to be better at everything than him, but she is, she is better at everything and somehow it’s still not quite enough. and well perhaps they’re very different, like sun and moon, but somehow they both struggle with making friends, how that happened with both of their parents making friends left and right a better question. “do you think if we just stare at it long enough it’ll come down?” on television they’d call the firefighters, but is that really necessary? she turns to look at the other “or you wanna try climbing up? if you fall down i’ll be here to” yes? what would she do if he fell down? feel embarrassed for him? “eh i guess i know first aid”.
