As is tradition, I am once again posting about immortal Leon because #Merlin is trending
So when merlin was trending the other day I remembered that I’d started writing a story about my immortal Leon au and tell me why it’s low-key some of my best writing? (This is from the middle of the story)
Leon’s response caught everyone off guard, but before anyone could pry any further, there was the sound of old stones moving. Leon’s face contorted further into worry as he looked past all the knights and to whomever had just entered.
“Viscount Orelion, long time no see.” As Merlin turned around he saw a woman wearing a dark red dress, immediately recognizing that she was a high priestess of the Old Religion. He heard the sound of knights unsheathing their swords. “Oh please boys, let us be civil. I only want to talk to an old… friend.” The priestess said, giving a slightly unnerving smile at the end. “Everyone put your swords down.” Leon’s voice was small, but everyone heard him, and after a few moments did as he asked. He looked her in the eyes, an indecipherable expression on his face, and asked, “Delilah, what are you doing here?” She let out a small laugh at that. “What am I doing here? I’m following my orders. The real question is why are you here, Sir Leon?” The malice in her voice was potent, but Leon seemed unfazed. “Following orders.” His response was short and precise, like always. “From who? Your king,” she quickly glanced at Arthur, “or your wife?”
