How do you think the Overblot Gang would react to finding out/their s/o confessing that they like to be tickled? 🫣

riddle - he's more embarrassed than you, to be honest. face turns bright red and he looks away all flustered because how is he supposed to respond? he doesn't dislike tickling himself - trey and che'nya like to get him from time to time, and he's found it a particularly useful method of reprimand for those reckless first years - but it's too much. there's too much loudness, laughter. he's too little in control of himself. it takes him a bit to warm up to the idea of tickling you, but if you let him work up to it in increments (as as lighthearted punishment, generally), he'll eventually let himself go and be more playful with it.

leona - acts like he doesn't care, barely cracking one eye open and raising a lazy eyebrow. "so? 'm I supposed to do something?" he's lazy but he loves you, really, so the next time you're a little too antsy during the naptime he's designated for both of you, restless in his arms, he'll suddenly tighten his grip and really give you something to squirm about. he teases you in that bored, vaguely annoyed way of his, complaining about how noisy your helpless squeals are and how he could be napping right now if you weren't moving so much while his arm keeps you trapped against him and his other hand goes to town.

azul - first response is to file that information away in a little mental space named EXPLOITABLE TRAITS. however, because he loves you, he makes an honest effort to recategorize it. he doesn't entirely succeed, but it's the most he's capable of, so it's sweet anyway. he gets a little antsy over it himself, remembering how the tweels used to (and still do, tbh) wreck his ass all the time. it starts with light pokes when you're not moving fast enough - the man walks at a ridiculous pace to maximize efficiency, as always, and you walk too slowly for him to be able to talk to you properly. before you know it, azul's clingy ass is squeezing your sides from behind while he buries his face in your neck.

jamil - at first, he really doesn't care, other than to have a bit of a 'yikes' reaction. he hates giving up control in any sense, so it doesn't make sense to him that this is something you could possibly enjoy. he has to test it out for himself, obviously, and enjoys it more than he thought he would. he uses his signature spell on you (with consent of course) to make you stay still while he tickles you, vaguely incredulous at how you seem to like it when he makes you giggle and thrash, how you like being made to just sit back and enjoy it when your body is desperately trying to escape. he finds it funny, in a way.

vil - he thinks it's cute, but probably doesn't indulge you very often 💔 tickling is the kind of thing that would make you move around out of instinct, and he can't risk you messing up his or your makeup. he'll give you quick, light tickles if you're too slow to react when he gives you instructions. every now and then, though, dating a famous model and actor will take its toll on you, who feels rather ordinary next to him even though he thinks you're wonderful. vil has never been very good with emotional vulnerability or long talks about his feelings - it's easier to make you laugh another way.

idia - what do you mean. what do you mean. that's only a thing on the internet, he's never meet someone who really likes it IRL, especially not someone like you...! right...? WRONG and he has to keep pinching himself to make sure he's not dreaming. he gets ridiculously flustered every time he thinks about it, picturing your pretty laugh or making you squirm with those dexterous fingers of his. gamer hands have to be useful for something, right? once he gets into it, though, he has an insane power trip every time he tickles you. look at you, all giggly! over little old him?? he wishes he could save file all of these memories - seeing as he can't, he'll just have to do it again. and again. and again-

malleus - it honestly takes him a second to remember what tickling is, really. lilia had tickled him once or twice when he was younger, but, well, they weren't allowed to spend a lot of time together. he's seen lilia tickle silver a few times, but never associated the act with the name. he's rather intrigued by this weakness of yours...how easily you give it up to him. is it enjoyable for you? malleus is an indulgent lover, he will play along fufufufu. he finds that he quite enjoys the sounds of your bright laughter, how you try to keep yourself from pushing him away when he finds a particularly bad spot. not that you could, anyways - he would just deal with that magically. he now has a fun new way to play with his human :>

Squealing Santa 2025: Training Camp Shenanigans

(Switch!Leona/Switch!Epel/Ler!Ruggie)

I was your secret santa this year, I saw the Spelldrive Trio™️ as one of your pairings and immediately jumped at the opportunity, I absolutely love getting to write for these three and I had a lot of fun! I also tried out a new way of shifting perspectives as well, and I think it turned out pretty ok all things considered.^^` I really hope you enjoy the fic, happy holidays! 💖 @squealing-santa

Summary: Leona oversleeps again at a Spelldrive training camp, as per usual, and Ruggie uses the opportunity to drag a certain apple loving freshman into trouble with him! Leona doesn't appreciate this very much.

"Uh, Ruggie-san? Are ya- err, are you certain this is a good idea?"

Epel couldn't help but to question his upperclassman, a hesitant frown of skepticism on his face as they both hovered over their sleeping Spelldrive Captain, who remained blissfully unaware of their presence for the time being.

When Ruggie had first come to him during training camp suggesting they mess with Leona the next morning, he couldn't deny that he'd been more than a little... Hesitant...

As much as he preferred Leona to Vil most of the time, that wasn't to say he was stupid enough to think that his Spelldrive Captain couldn't be just as, if not more temperamental than his own dorm leader at times.

He could actually be pretty scary too in his own right, just not in quite the same way...

Where Vil could most accurately be compared to an icy blizzard when he was mad, Leona was more akin to a raging flame of quiet anger. It would hardly be considered wise to test his patience... The last thing Epel would ever want to do would be to intentionally incite that blazing wrath upon himself.

Ruggie hardly seemed to share in these reservations, however...

"Aawww, don't tell me you're chickening out on me now? What's wrong, you scared? Shyehehe..." the second year taunted him, not seeming the least bit nervous over the potential consequences his little scheme might result in.

Either he was incredibly brave, or extremely stupid... Maybe both.

Why he'd even come up with this idea to begin with Epel had no idea. All he knew was that he'd been remarkably persistent in his efforts to get him to participate, and it was only after a significant amount of taunting and bothering that he agreed.

Sitting here now though, crouching in their shared tent at training camp, while actively planning to tickle their literal apex predator of a captain awake? He was really beginning to question whether he'd made the right decision...

He almost found himself tempted to back out, only to end up caving again anyway when Ruggie began to cluck at him teasingly, an embarrassed flush rising to his cheeks as he whipped his head up to glare at him.

"Ok ok! Fine!!" He growled out, taking a swat at his snickering upperclassman that he unfortunately managed to dodge.

"Ugh! J-Just shut up will ya?! I ain't no chicken!!" He huffed. No one accused Epel Felmier of being a coward, and he never backed down from a challenge!

With this thought in mind, he firmly pushed aside the quiet voice in his head suggesting this was all a terrible idea... After all, what was the worse that could happen? Leona surely wouldn't be mad enough to actually hurt them right?

Probably...

"Mmmggh..." Leona grumbled in his sleep, twitching a little at the annoying tingling feeling that disturbed his peaceful slumber.

It was still pretty early in the morning by his standards, and he'd been hoping to catch atleast a few more hours sleep before he'd inevitably be dragged out of bed by Ruggie or some other annoying juniors to run Spelldrive drills. It seemed that would not be the case, however.

As his mind reluctantly began to shift towards wakefulness, his body too became more aware, and it suddenly became a lot more apparent what had disturbed him to begin with...

"Wha?! Whahaha?!" He growled out a startled involuntary laugh as he blearily opened his eyes, and there hovering over him were Ruggie, because of course it would be him, and a little more surprisingly, Epel, the only somewhat tolerable person that dwelt within Pomefiore's halls.

"Wakey wakey Leona!" Ruggie snickered, sounding far too cheerful and mischievous this early in the morning, his grubby little hands squeezing up and down his sides, causing him to laugh against his will while Epel was a lot more unsure about it as he scribbled along the underside of one of his knees.

"Wahaha?! You lihihittle-?!" No doubt he'd been dragged into this little scheme by Ruggie, that much he was certain of, but that little fact was hardly going to earn him any kind of lenience, oh definitely not. As far as Leona was concerned?

They were both dead!

In retrospect, Epel really should've listened to the voice in his head. This had, in fact, been a terrible idea from the beginning.

One minute, he'd been sitting next to his captain's knees and only just starting to get into the fun of tickling him when he heard his raucous laughter, and the next?

He found himself being roughly tugged off balance by one arm. Not by Leona, but by Ruggie, whom much to his insult and dismay was already darting out the tent flap after shoving him on top of their already ticked off upperclassman like some sort of human sacrifice.

"Thanks for being a good decoy Epel, have fun! Shyehehe!" He teased, turning tail completely and rezipping the tent, quite literally sealing poor Epel's fate just as Leona began to recover from the bony elbow that had struck him in the gut.

Oh no...

Epel laughed a little nervously as he scrambled to sit upright, bringing his hands up placatingly as he began to back away from the furious lion.

"W-Wait just a- aaAAH!! Aahahaha nohohOHO!! Leona-sahahahaan I'm sohohohorryyehe!!" As Leona finally pounced on him, and his own frantic laughter began to fill the tent instead, he made a vow to himself right then and there;

He was going to make that scheming hyena pay too!

“You wanted to see me?” Jack inquired to Leona, walking up to the housewarden who was sitting on one of the longue chairs

Leona gets up from his seat and gestures him to come over,“Yeah come here”

Ruggie pops up from behind Jack, the wolf noticing as he felt his mischievous aura,“…Ruggie?”

“Hi Jack! Let’s get down to the chase!” Hands dive right to Jack’s sides, causing him to jump, “HRK!”

He was going to grab Ruggie’s hands but he felt an arm wrap around under his arms and brought backwards. Leona had a bit of a smirk matching the hyena in front of them, “Oh no, you’re staying right here”

“W-wait-!” Wiggly fingers resumed to his sides, now this time he was facing the culprit while Leona kept him restrained. The noises changed to brief snorts and chuckles. All while he was wiggling around in Leona’s arm, not arms, but arm. Thats Housewarden strength for ya.

“No waiting no waiting! You gotta help us with something~” there are times Ruggie would scatter his fingers from his sides to then piano woth his ribs, delicately and not missing a gap.

“G-Guhuhuhuhuys! What’s- Whahahahats gotten into you!!”

“Nothin new, just stay still-“

“Sheheheyeh, your tails wagging, adorable!”

“It’s nahahahat!! Why are you- GAHAHAHAH NOT THERE HAHAHAH!!”

Leona’s other hand finally joined the party, his fingers provoking at the spot that meets the top rib and the bottom of his underarm. Leona got a good chuckle from this reaction and was sure he was gonna tap out soon from his laughs now becoming more loud cackles woth the combination of his and Ruggie’s skittering now at his tummy.

“Oh you found a god spot there, Leona~”

“That and someone’s tail is still wagging, you don’t seem to mind this.” Jack was so flustered, he still doesn’t have his answer yet. He’s just a guy being tickled in the middle of their dorms lounge, hes lucky no one’s around to see or hear. His hands go to Ruggie’s shouldve by force and tried to push at him to get off. It didn’t help that the two of them slowly get closer and closer to his underarms, his arms trying not to clamp down as he barks out all his laughs.

“Lehehet gohohohoh I’m dohohohone!!”

Leona looks to Ruggie, who is smirking more brightly at Leona for some reason while the lion had this deadpan look at the other. They both walk over to one of the couches nearby and let him go, who collapsed onto the couch.

“Hmp, you were right-“

Jack pants and weakly looks up at the 2 of them,“H….huh….?”

“He lasted longer than you thought, grab my damn wallet” with Leona admitting defeat, Ruggie laughs and salutes

“Yessir!!” Ruggie runs off, leaving Jack and Leona alone. He sat down on the couch next to the wolf, arm resting on the armrest and looks to the tickle exhausted first year.

“And get a glass of water while you’re at it, don’t need the wolf pup here passing out over a bet.” He reaches his hand over to Jack and just lazily ruffles his head.

of course you may! I get very nervous about characterizing him because he's such a complex character and it would really depend on his lee and ler. Hope i can do a good job!

Lee or Ler, he's tired after. Flops onto his side, closes his eyes, and tells the other person to leave. If its someone he likes, he'll wrap his arms around them and hold them while he sleeps.

J: Joy | Their absolute favorite thing about tickling?

He likes how easy it is to get what he wants with it. Stubborn beastmen crack real quick when you embarrass them like that. As a lee, he tolerates it if it makes his partner happy.

S: Safeword | If they were to suggest the safeword for a tickle session, which word will it be?

T: Teasing | Their most favorite methods of teasing their lee/ler?

I don't see him doing long sessions. The act of him tickling anyone in itself is a tease. A quick little scribble to get a yelp and leave them wanting more. And he would smirk like hell after >:)

I think he would avoid saying it, but he won't deny or fluster if he has to.
