A very silly gift for a very special personâs very special day <3 Happy birthday Tomo! Hope your day is as wonderful as you are!
The Just-Nots are trying to figure out the newest challenge two had assigned but, pillow has run off again. After the last time, it's obvious that she needed to be found as soon as possible. Book offers to go while the others try to work out their challenge but things end up going much sillier than book would have hoped for.
Day 2: accidental
âUh guys- where did Pillow go?â
The group stopped, practically dropping everything as they swiveled in every direction, but Pillow was nowhere to be found. Even before leaving the Death Pact she had acted.. Strange. Everyone knew about pillowâs chaotic behavior, heck, she was roped into it so many times she had practically lost count. Sure, she was a victim to a more different kind of chaos, but it was still chaos all the same. With a sigh, dictionary volunteered to run off to find her while the others worked out the challenge. She made sure to make it clear she'd help as much as she could once Pillow was back in eyesight. Not really having the time to argue, the rest of the Just Nots nodded, letting the book run off on her own. Book dried desperately to find the girl, she really did, but it just seemed like she vanished without a trace. Tired from all the running around, the dictionary fell onto her face, resting for just a second to catch her breath. As she laid there, not even completely sure where she was, she could hear bickering, something completely normal around her. The yellow grass rustled as footsteps closed in on her, a familiar voice making her perk up, now sitting straight so that she could look at Pillow properly.
âHey!â
âPillow! Where did you go?! You can't just wander off- especially what happened last time!â
âI was just talking to a different team.â she replied a little too calmly before sitting behind the book, resting her hands on the top of her covers. âCan I look at your pictures?â
Dictionary noticeably jumped, but went on with her speech anyway.
âT-There was no way you were just t- talkING?! What is your obsession with my pictures?!â
Pillow had opened her up as she berated her, carefulling flipping through her pages while she examined each colorful illustration. It was the quick interruption in her scolding that got her attention. She really had not intended to start this silly game, but Bookâs reaction had caught her attent. Slowly, without Book noticing, Pillowâs expression lifted from a numb smile to a mischievous smirk. One hand lifted off her front cover, hovering over a picture of a flower that rested towards the lower side of the page on the left.
âThey're pretty. Especially this one.â slowly, her pointer descended across the page, fingertips gently tracing around it. The dictionary yelped, embarrassingly loudly before she tried turning over to face the other girl.
âPillow! Stohahp-â
âWhoops. I forgot you were ticklish.â she said blandly, continuing her actions with no intent in stopping. Book had grabbed onto her ankles, trying to control the endorphin rush that ran through her spine.
âNo you didnt! Y-youre doing this on purpuhuhuhHACK Nonononononononono- not the spIHIHINE-!
Pillow had quickly grown tired of reading and decided to go straight for the kill. Why start something and not do it right? One hand ran up and down the crease that bounded the cover and pages together while the other gently dug at the back cover. Dictionary was in shambles, kicking out her legs and swatting her hands violently, both an attempt to calm the butterflies in the pit of her stomach and to try to grab the offending hand on her cover. Nothing seemed to deter Pillow, however. Everything she did she just encouraged her. As her fingers ventured deeper into her binding, Book screamed, kicking so hard she fell back into pillowâs lap, accidentally nicking her knee during the tumble. The sensations stopped suddenly, fingers disappearing from within her spine. Book was giggling too hard to think right. Her hands rested tiredly against her chest in a âT-rexâ like pose, her eyes squeezed shut as she tried to make sense of the thoughts fussing her brain. Seemingly from far away, however. She could hear Pillow speak.
âYou kicked me. That wasn't very nice.â bookâs eyes sprang open at the feeling of fingers around her ankle, pulling it so it now lay on her own thigh. In a panic, Book tried to explain it was just an accident, but her pleading melted into squeaky, hiccups giggles as Pillowâs hand scratched roughly at the back of her knee, her free hand going straight for the outer part of her spine. Cackling, Book fell back into the girlâs lap, clutching at the grass beneath them in a desperate attempt to ground herself. For what felt like hours, fingers skittered over every part of her body; soft lips across her palms, scratching nails in the inner side of her knees, pinching across her spine, whatever it was, it was unbearable. Within minutes, tears had stained her cheeks and the grass that was within her grasp was torn to shreds. From beneath her soul shaking laughter she could hear voices talking distinctly. With a final squeeze, causing the poor girl to snort, the fingers disappeared. Book could hardly stand, let alone sit up. From beside her, she could hear one of her other teammates talking, hearing the clear smile in their voice.
âWell.. I see you found Pillow. Once you catch your breath though, you should probably join us. We have twenty minutes left to complete the challenge.â grass rustled gently, signaling their departure. Book attempted to hide her face in her hands, but a finger poked her in the side, making her squeak.
âHeh. sorry. I just wanted to make sure you didn't fall asleep.â

Book felt... not... very comfortable.
Pillow flipped another page with a hum, scanning the pictures.
"...are you gonna be done yet?.." Book hesitantly asked Pillow.
Pillow always randomly began "reading" Book, and it never made Book feel all that comfortable. Maybe even a little scared or unsafe.
"I don't plan to be." Pillow said, slipping her finger under the side of the page she was on before turning it. Book shivered uncomfortably.
"Well..can you hurry a bit? I don't like this." Book tried not to sound like she was rushing Pillow, but she wanted this to end immediately.
"Hmmm... maybe." Pillow mumbled.
Book moved her attention to some of the grass and dirt below her. She ripped out a shred of grass, fidgeting with it and trying to distract from what pillow was doing. Then, she felt a big knock on her pages. "OW!-" Book groaned. "Don't pull grass from the ground! That's bad!" Pillow scolded. Book raised a brow. "W-What?- It's not that bad!?" Book sounded insulted. "It distrupts the soil ecosystem." Pillow raised her hand and sounded like she wanted to seem smart. Book would protest, but she was scared of what Pillow would do if she did, so she dropped the grass and kept quiet.
Pillow went back to looking at the pictures after. "Oh!" She made a few little noises before poking the page lightly. It sent weird tingles through Books spine, but she didn't say anything, only shivering. "This picture is pretty!" Pillow smiled. "What is it?" Book asked, realizing her voice was a little shaky. "Pretty flowers. I like them." Pillow nodded at her own words, removing her finger from the page. Book felt a relief surge through her, but at the same time, a small disappointment.
Pillow flipped the page again. She was currently on a page without pictures this time, and before flipping the page, she caught notice of some words that she found interesting. "Ooohh.." Pillow read thoroughly, tracing under the words as to not lose her place. Oh, god, those tingles came again.
Book squeaked, trying to shut herself with no success. "C-Can you stop that, please..?" Book asked, a giggle slipping under her breath.
Pillow tilted her head. "Stop what?" She asked. Book took a shaky breath in. "Stop tracing my pages.. it tickles." Book awkwardly shuffled in place, trying to feel more comfortable. She spoke quietly, especially on the last word.
Pillow blinked, looking back into Books pages before realizing what she had said. "...Nope!" She exclaimed, tracing again while "reading". "I- why?!" Book bursted out, biting her tongue. "Tickling you seems fun." Pillow smiled, blunt as ever. Book make a weird choked noise, squirming slightly. "That feels weird..!" Book whined. "No, it feels tingly. You said it tickled." Pillow continued tracing, adding some slight more pressure.
Despite how usually apathetic Pillow seemed, she must admit, she felt a little more prideful during the moment.
"Ehehe.." Book put her hands to her lips, shaky breaths becoming more audible.
Pillow smirked. "You giggled. I lost my place." Pillow said, spidering her fingers back to the top of Books page. "N-Noho!" Book couldn't help laughing as Pillow skittered, trying to arch her back to pull away and failing.
"Each time you laugh, I get distracted and lose my place! Don't laugh unless you want me to restart." Pillow instructed sternly, but she still sounded playful. Book knew better than to argue with Pillow. She shut her mouth tightly, gently tapping her foot and trying to distract herself as Pillow traced.
Eventually, Pillow realized Book wasn't gonna laugh anytime soon. It wouldn't be fun if the game ended so soon.
Pillow "gently" squeezed the paper, making Book yelp and try to fall back onto Pillow to make her pages less vulnerable, which didn't work. "P-Pillohohow! Don't do that! It'll damage the PAHAHAHAGES!- NAHAHAT THERE! NOT THERE!" Book screeched. Books arms flailed uselessly as Pillow moved her attention to the center of the pages, Books spine. She gently traced the outer edges of the spine before digging into the binding, careful not to cause pain or discomfort- at least not any more than she has already.
Book cackled, tears filling her eyes as she waved her hands around.
"...You're stimming." Pillow said, still digging into the inner spine.
And as Book looked; yes, she was indeed stimming.
Her hand waving wasn't anything new. She did it often when excited or happy, and it was never anything bad. But now, since her idiotic body decided to do it in this moment, it was rather embarrassing.
Book quickly stopped, pulling her arms to her chest with an unexpected snort.
"PLEHAHAHAHAHASE- STOP WITH THE SPIHINE!" Book squealed, kicking the ground.
Pillow obliged, slowly removing her fingers and giving Book a moment of rest. Book leaned back against Pillow, catching her breath. "Oh..oh, god."
"You had fun?" Pillow asked. Book's face flushed. "What makes you think that?" She murmured breathlessly. "You were stimming, as I said before!" Pillow exclaimed. Book inhaled, but couldn't respond. She looked down, rubbing her wrist with a tiny sigh. Pillow giggled, shutting Book and moving to sit in front of her. Book brought her hands to her chest in a t-rex position, clearly a little awkward now as Pillow positioned herself to sit on Books knees without a word. Pillow slowly layed Book on her back, looking down at her with a dry, almost emotionless smile as she always did.
Then she just... stared. It was a long, awkward silence.
Book was about to speak before Pillow ran a finger down her outer spine. "Eep!-" Book flinched.
Pillows unfeeling smile grew a little wider.
"...Pillow, please- NAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAOOO!" Book squealed, trying to buck at Pillow and kick her away with no success. Pillow gently skittered her fingers over Books spine, sending terrible tingles all through her. Book could swear she felt all of tingles through each of her pages.
"STAHAP IT! PLEASE! PLEHEHEHAHAHA- NAHAHAHA- OH, GOHOHAHA-" Book could barely form words. Tears spilled from her eyes with how hard she was laughing.
Pillow slowly came to a stop, rubbing her spine gently to remove the remaining tingles.
Book breathed hard, letting out leftover giggles. "..You're..the worst." Book sighed. Pillow giggled, gently wiping the tears off of Books face.
"This is fun!" Pillow exclaimed. "No..No, it's nohot.." Book chuckled. She had a big, shaky smile despite the tickling being stopped for now.
Pillow made claw hands at Book, watching as her face flushed and she put her own hands in front of herself to prevent Pillows hands from getting any closer. Pillow grinned uncharacteristically.
"Ticklish?" She asked teasingly. "Stahap..." Book squeezed her eyes shut. Pillow chuckled. "I haven't even done anything!" She exclaimed. "Yes, you have!" Book sounded like she might burst into giggles any second. Pillow raised an eyebrow at the Book.
Book giggled again. "You've been tormenting me this whole tihime!" She tittered. Pillow rolled her eyes playfully. ""Tormenting" is a strong word, especially since you've enjoyed it this whole time." Pillow said. Book used her hands to cover her face, which was now unbearably red.
Pillow shocked Book, grabbing one of Books arms and holding her hand up in front of herself. "H-Huh?-!" Book gripped the grass below her with her free hand in preparation for whatever thing Pillow would do next.
Pillow gently held Books middle finger back so the rest couldn't move in independently, then used her other hand to gently trace Books palm. "EEP!" Book bursted into giggles, trying to hold her titters back, yet many still broke through. She threw her head back, taking a deep breath in and biting her tongue as if it helped her any.
"This seems like a sensitive spot." Pillow commented, lightly scratching the center of Books hand. "N-No! Noho... it's nahat..." Book turned and tried to hide her face in the ground.
Pillow let go of Books hand and stopped, looking down at the novel once more.
Book couldn't wipe the smile off her face no matter how hard she tried, so she just accepted her fate. She looked up at Pillow with the shaky smile and flushed face, still giggling every few moments.
"... You're cute." Pillow said it like it was casual. "Hehe..shush." Book mumbled.
Pillow leaned lower down to the story, taking a deep breath. Book knew what was happening.
Pillow blew a large raspberry on Book's stomach. When she pulled away, she had a large, unexpressive smile that seemed like she was proud of herself. "N-Noho more.." Book giggled out, wrapping her arms around herself.
Pillow grinned for a moment, then then opened Book again while she was on her back. Book could only see darkness as her face was shoved onto the ground so Pillow had access to her sensitive pages once more.
"Wait, Pillow- PIIIAHAHAHA-"
Pillow blew another raspberry onto Book's pages. Pillow kind of expected the paper to feel uncomfortable and rough on her lips, but Books pages were rather soft and smooth.
Book flailed her limbs, accidentally stimming once more. "PLEHEHAHAHAHA-"
Pillow didn't leave any inch of the paper without a raspberry. And, for her finishing act; she blew a raspberry directly into Books spine.
Pillow finally relented, pulling away and shutting Book. She sat Book up, examining her closely.
Book's face was undeniably and noticeably flushed, and she had tears forming in her eyes once more. She was catching her breath, a wide smile covering her face that she was trying to get rid of. Book felt as if her pages were vibrating from all the raspberries.
Pillow smiled at the Book.
"You're so sensitive." Pillow uttered.
Book wiped the tears from her face, taking deep breaths until her smile finally faded.
"You're such a jerk sometimes.. y'know that?" She murmured, but she didn't sound all to serious.
"You enjoyed that. I doubt I can be considered a real jerk if I made you happy!" Pillow smiled apathetically, but it seemed like it had a small warmth to it.
Book stuttered before giving up on responding.
Pillow decided she'd have to do that again soon, especially if it bought both her and Book joy.
With how much this happens- you almost want to assume that she honestly doesn't mind being tickled half to death.
Day 24: pinned
"Ah- hah- can't we talk about this -?"
Book had her hands out in front of her, blocking her already blushing face as she struggled to make eye contact with the girl above her. Pillow sat back for s moment, putting a finger on her lips as she humed, squinting her eyes as she thought about book's request.
"hum. Nah~"
Within a second, book's hands were pined about her, watching helplessly as pillow quickly descended her free hand towards her pages, her thin fingertips zig zaging delicately along each page. The poor book practically resolved into desperate giggles, her protest falling silent on her lips before she could fully get them out. Book didn't even fully know what had triggered pillow's Primal instinct this time- just moments ago, she was standing off to the side, almost bored as she sat in her solitude. Seconds later, pillow was on top of her, sitting on her legs so she couldn't kick free. She tried tossing around or to vent hide her face in the crock of her arm, but with the angle she was forced in, all her attempts ended up being fruitless. Pillow giggled menacingly in-between her endless teases and comments, quickly turning the already flustered book into a puddle of embarrassment. Even long after pillow's fingers stopped fluttering over book's cover, she still kept herself perched on her thighs. At least they had nothing better to do.
