This question made me laugh when I saw it, because Lerki is the designated mom of his team - and Tundra actually calls him on it, too!

Lerki worries over his friends mostly because, while they are all intelligent, he's the seasoned expert on survival in the wilds of Illthdar. This is terrible, because his experience is only as a venin living as venin do, which is not compatible in the least with the biology of the others. It also doesn't help that every time he sees them, at least one of his teammates has done something stupid while he was away. It blows his mind how reckless they can be.
