WIP wednesday
oh hey, it's actually wednesday! @huldine and @nevarrantorte both tagged me a while back, and maybe some other people a long time ago too!
sometime before the end of june (femslash challenge deadline!), i'm finishing up my morrigan/f!lavellan fic, and that's what i'm scribbling at today before rushing to a singing rehearsal. snippet from chapter 2's rough draft:
“It’s okay, by the way,” Idunn adds, “that you’re less sure of being with a woman. It’s easy.” A small laugh bubbles up and out of Morrigan, a simmering in her lungs. “Oh? I do not find that comforting, I must say. I shall endeavor not to disappoint, as ‘twould be far worse, apparently, given how easy it is.”
P.S. total sidenote, i never knew until now how extremely sad morrigan is about alistair dying to kill the archdemon in my canon. this fic is not about that, and it's been 20+ in-game years, but she's still suuuuuper sad and feels like she failed her irritating frenemy who she secretly really cared about like a sibling. </3 sorry morri ilu, hopefully having a lesbian awakening comforts u
