best characters i got to know this year (this is so difficult, i’ll just go with the first five that come to mind D:):

- the wedding scene from shadowhunters. i’m sry. i watched it like a thousand times- the scene from sense8′s christmas special where they all celebrate their birthdays together- basically every steven universe episode bc this show is just one big feel good moment- haikyuu!! season three, the scene in which tsukishima discovers his moment that got him hooked on volleyball- i was thinking about voltron or yuri on ice but they’re both comfort shows as a whole (like su basically) so i probably can’t list them here since i already cheated with su and i’ll go with the reunion scene between sulu and his family in star trek beyond bc that warmed my heart so much. i love star trek and ugh. finally!

best feel-good moments irl

- sanja’s proposal at the beach- getting the job i wanted- seeing franzi for the first time- receiving your first letter - making new friends at school (which is technically not a single moment but you know... against all odds and expectations school rly makes me feel good)

also, may i say that you're one of the few artists that actually make rose's face beautifully fat??

yeah drawing rose is like Intense Body Image Therapy for me bc i hate my fat face and double chin, i hate looking at photos of myself where i can see those features, it’s one of my absolute biggest insecurities, so i’ll be damned if i’m not gonna take every opportunity to force myself to associate them with an elegant and graceful and beautiful character like rose quartz

well today someone called me and I said hey it's me, and she's like "hi, it's grandma" and we chatted for a long while until she asked if I was at home and I said "yea" and she said "why aren't you at school?" and then I was like ". . . . wait" turns out she wasn't my grandma but had a granddaughter of the same name living in the same place and just happened to dial my number accidentally, but we had a nice chat. do you have any nice stories?

that’s so funny, i love the nice old people, and i like odd little moments that could be nice ones

i do have a resting bitch face at times so the strangers that tend to talk to me are only old ladies who don’t care, and the same happens to my mother, who went gray at fourteen, so she has a full head of white and gray hair now that amazes most old ladies and when she goes to get her hair cut, there’s a circle of old ladies around her who work there or are getting their hair cut too and it’s just really funny somehow because if they’re nice they’ll talk to you like they’ve known you forever

OMG yes, it is a snail! Did I say slug? lol it’s because the words for slug and snail are the same in italian (lumaca) so I got confused! But yes, it was a very tiny snail and it was adorable :D
