Arnold, coffee: He never comes around to liking it, although he does eventually start enjoying green tea. Still prefers hot chocolate though.
Arnold, music: I mean, canon is pretty clear that he can sing, play the harmonica, and do inappropriately sexy tangos, so. I feel like he definitely goes through a somewhat tiresome folk guitar phase in high school, too.
Helga, coffee: Black, no sugar, four cups a day at minimum, would inject it directly into her veins if she could.
Helga, music: We know she does ballet as well as the aforementioned inappropriately sexy tangos. I don’t think we ever hear her sing outside of “What’s Opera, Arnold?” but I figure she’s as good in reality as she is in dream sequences, i.e. basically fine. She cannot play an instrument but she is really into Arnold’s folk guitar phase which is frustrating to her because it is objectively annoying and she knows it.
Also I feel like this isn’t a career path either of them would chose to go down but they would make a GREAT songwriting team - Arnold on music, Helga on lyrics. There’s an AU in here somewhere.
