Salem: *nodding* I couldn’t think of anything else to do.
Blake: *sighing* That… might make things a bit harder on me. But, the important question first, how did June defend Mistral from the grimm?
Jinn: *swirling a blue mist around the two* I will show you exactly what transpired.
Salem: *hesitating as everything went white* Blake? Blake!? Are you here?
Jinn: The grimm rushed to attack Mistral.*Mistral showed up in the background, a mass of grimm rushing to the gates*
June: *ushering people through the gates* Hurry! Get inside! I’ll keep everyone safe!
Child: *looking up at June* You will?
June: *nodding* I will. I promise.
Child: *hugging June* Please be safe.

June: *sighing and locking the gate with a glyph* That’s the last of them in there. *turning to the grimm horde* Now, just one last problem to deal with.
Jinn: *flashing the scene forward* June put up a fight to defend Mistral to her last breath. But the grimm overwhelmed her.
June: *falling to the ground, covering an open bite wound* I… I’m sorry kid…
*A beowolf rushed to bite June*
June: *wincing and pushing the beowolf away with a glyph* My sisters would be disappointed in me right now. *digging into her pocket and pulling out a dust crystal* Doesnt look like I have a choice.
June: *pressing the dust crystal into her arm, her veins and eyes lighting up in a silver light* I’m sorry, my sisters. I’m joining you sooner than you would want.
Valen: *watching taking control and watching as an explosion of silver light came from June’s body* The silver light from the texts…
Jinn: *bringing everyone back to Valen’s tent* She used a dust crystal she created to defeat the grimm at the cost of her own life.
Salem: *sighing* That crystal… You cant be planning on using that Blake.
Blake: *taking control back* I have to. If it’s the only way to stop Weiss, then I have to do this.
Salem: And what, sacrifice yourself? What if it doesnt work?
Blake: Then I reincarnate and have to find something different to try.
Salem: And your host? What about him?
Salem: Did you even think about what he wants to do? Sacrificing yourself means you’ll have to sacrifice him too!
Blake: *sighing* I’ll discuss it with him. But stopping Weiss is taking top priority.
Salem: Even if it costs lives to do it?
Valen: *taking control back* Wait! Stop fighting you two. Blake, I’m sorry, but there has to be another way to use that dust crystal without sacrificing us. And Salem, fighting with Blake isnt going to get us anywhere.
Valen: *looking at Jinn* Is there another way to use this crystal? Any sort of semblance that might be able to help?
Jinn: The only semblance that can help is one of glyphs. June, however, was the last of a family line that could use glyphs. There are no other options.
Valen: *sighing* Thank you.
Jinn: And that was your last question this era. *retreating back into the lamp*
Salem: We need to come up with a plan before we go marching on Weiss. She’ll be looking for me and the lamp.
Valen: Then we bring the lamp to her.
Salem: What?! You cant be serious!
Valen: I am. It will get us close to her and to give us a chance to stop her.
