gonna be less active for a bit
I might start posting less because of my mental health
Gonna be less of me
So this year during my uni semesters I'm going to be living in a different place, and something's weird with the landline there so I will be living off wireless internet. Unfortunately wireless is super expensive and we're only able to afford so much internet, so I have to go essentially from 50gb a month to 8gb a month. I do other recreational things online other than Tumblr, but despite that I will also need to cut back a lot from here, Tumblr take up a lot of data. So at home I will have 8gb a month to do assignments and check basic messages online. At university I have a quota of about 1-2gb so I'll have that too plus monthly data on my mobile. So approximately I'll end up with about 12gb a month to use. It's not that bad, but with the amount of accounts I have online, it gets use up quickly. I'm hoping that with being at school half of my days, going to the library more for my research and visiting a few internet cafes I won't run out of internet. But yeah, that means less communication from me on here, which is unfortunate because I don't like becoming "dead" on here. If I find myself at the end of the month with a few gbs to spare I will be definitely spending some good quality time on the internet or watching movies :D But yeah, just a heads up for my friends on here.
So my laptop only works 10% of the time now. I'll post when I can guys. I <3 you all.
So stuff
Recently I grew quite fed up with everything, mainly because I was a bit frustrated about how slowly I seemed to be recovering - everything became a bit more magnified because I was annoyed to start with. However I've had more time to think lately. The TV has remained turned off for a few days, I've been mostly offline and I've just been reading lots and chilling out a bit. It's been lovely to sit quiet and organise myself.
So I've decided to reduce the time I spend watching TV and being online, instead spending more time doing stuff, I've some sorely neglected hobbies I now miss. I'm going to set aside time to spend on these.
I also need to start helping myself recover, so will start doing some gentle yoga stretching each day. I've also Irish dances to organise and I've been having a wee think on that too. I've put too much pressure on myself on that front (sjerose you're right on the burn out front, best to relax a bit more about it all I think). So I will sort the 2 steps needed, I'm also going to get some of the more experienced dancers more involved. We need a show piece for the end of Oct, so I think a join effort creating a reel/treble reel display piece is a good way to get everyone involved and hopefully it will take some of the pressure of me and I can get back to enjoying dancing more again. Also I now realise I was forgetting some of the great great girls from dancing, the craic that is had at class, the shared laughs and blisters. Coming into autumn and winter months, it's best to have something fun planned at least once a week!
I could go on about my plans but I think I'd rather just do something about them and then pop up a weekly post bi weekly, either way I'll not likely be posting as often and there will be fewer random reblogs of pictures, this is going to probably become more me orientated post and my images. All this change is going to be a gradual thing but I'm looking forward to the journey.
I'll just finish with excitement. I booked a weekend trip for myself and my OH to Venice! Always wanted to go, we had the money set aside for something, seemed like a good idea to book something to look forward to, we're going in October and I'm really pleased finally did something rather than talk about it.
So life is going to be good, I've decided to wind my neck in and get a grip. Good to give yourself a shake to wise up every now and then.
