Happy New Year! Arlo, Ray, Bingo and I wish everyone a happy, peaceful and kind 2025.
I know just what could unite this Fandom. Diabolicule smut. I've got my work cut out for me. I'm on the job!
Okay, but can we Goncharov a series of Benoit Blanc mysteries?
I want the story of how he and Philip met. (I saw a dude on Twitter suggest Philip is a semi-retired jewel thief and Blanc fell in love with him after being hired to catch him and YES PLEASE.)
I want to know how he became a gentleman sleuth (I imagine him walking away from a wealthy, powerful, and corrupt family--who are also homophobic--and coolly burning them down on the way out. Oh, and his archnemesis is his older brother. We need an archnemesis in this.)
I want to see how he formed his affection for kickass women in caring professions. (If we go with the rich family, I imagine he was raised more by a nanny than by his actual parents, and wouldn't SHE make a delightful occasional cameo? She definitely read him Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot at a formative age.)
I want to give him at least half a dozen more oddball habits. (His signature drink is something I, a non-drinker, could not possibly guess, but he also has a signature tea blend that Philip got him into and I am ON THAT. Black tea with rose petals for a base, I think...)
I need at least five books involving envelopes full of cash. One of them has a parrot sidekick and one involves a literal rocket to the moon.
Finally, and most important, I need the book where he gets handed a kitten and just has to run around solving a crime with a kitten in his pocket, on his shoulder, attacking his shoelaces or perching on his stylish hat while it's on his head.
Fuck. I gotta write some fanfic.
Halp.

didn't realize Dracula Daily had started over a few days ago, signed up and am going through the archives of the first few entries I missed
I've never read Dracula before, so let's do some entry by entry reactions, shall we?
I’m doing OCtober 2021 this month! Check out the prompts at @oc-growth-and-development :)
Here’s a dump of the first six days’ worth of OCs:
1: Aislin Walker from my novel Fading In
2: Lady Stesha from my ongoing story Beholder
3: Guard-Captain Tomás from Beholder
4: Penny the Maid from Beholder
5: Princess Arella from Beholder
6: Prince Harold from Beholder
I’m keeping the drawings simple to better ensure that I’ll do them daily ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
If anyone’s ever curious about the characters and/or the stories they’re from, feel free to ask! :)
Happy 2021!!
