As sweet as he was, the smile upon his face etched into his lips like a prose'd moment. He looked to her, kneeling down to be on level with his own daughter and she cried out louder. Frantic arms found their way upon his shoulders as she looked to her father with the most forlorn'd look. Eyebrows knit tightly together despite her struggles to stare at him with a stern and serious expression. Gaius did nothing but chuckle, warm like honey escaping his lips causing the tiny dainty child to purse her lips in retort. How dare you laugh at me papa! Noire shook her head violently trying to keep her demeanor the same. Cheeks burning red along with the wide exposed forehead, the corners of her eye ducts filled with collected tears from her eyes as they together fell, masses down her face. He smiled wider as if to dissipate the tears running down those cheeks. “Papa, s-stawp it!! Ss'not f-fanny...” Noire stammered and to combat his child's stammered face which seemed to be all but stuck in it's frantic state. Gaius pressed his lips upon the girls cheeks and blew a firm raspberry onto them. Squeaking, the tiny anemic let go of her father--and he wrapped his arms around her tiny waist picking her up from the floor. Rising up high and spinning her around continuing the round of raspberries upon her cheeks until Noire's crys for stops turned into loud laughter. He'd laugh with her, parting from her cheeks to stare lovingly at the child within his arms. Noire's eyes having previously been watered with tears, now gleamed with utter brilliance. 'That's My Cupcake,' he says placing his forehead upon hers. Tiny palms pressing against her fathers cheeks, 'I'll come back, don't worry.' The thief says once more, and yet Noire saw the glint in his eye and as the child she was she couldn't tell what it was. This was her father, he'd never lie and he never had. "Okay. Papa..” A toothy grin placed upon her cheeks, wide stretching out her cheeks. She was placed upon her feet once more. A lithe plop and placement of the tiny child he cared deeply for. It would be the last time she'd ever come to see him. This time Gaius took the lollipop from his headband, the one he always wore. His favorite he kept for special moments, for as long as he could before having to plop it into his mouth. This one Noire noted he wore for quite a while so to watch him grin placing it into her hand had made the child forget absolutely everything grimacing about this predicament. Papa's special lollipop had been given to her, because she was ultra super special. Her attention placed upon the lollipop, excitedly hopping from her feet and spinning the delectable in her hand. Lips firmly placed upon her cheek, more firmly then she'd ever felt her father kiss her and then a pat upon her head. Strands of thin hair had gone left and right, mixing up and over lapping one another as they stuck out at every end. This distracted her, as Gaius turned to walk away. 'I love you,' she knew she heard as she struggled to hold her lollipop and straighten out her hair. Not wanting to entangle her fathers present within her long locks of hair. "Hehe, I know papa---.” He was gone. "Papa?"
Head spun left and right, frantic to know where she was. Watching as the room before her hits her with a realization. The place she was stuck at had been her apartment room. A place that although was personal to herself--was still not really welcoming. A gasp escapes her lips and she notes how persperated her body feels. “It ...Was a dream....” Frantic breathing presumed as she tried eagerly to catch her breath. Anxiety throwing her already frail body into a state of panic. Nightmares never left her no matter where she slept nor where she went. Even here along the crosswords of a world she knew nothing of she was trapped. As if despite how lost she would always feel, the horrors of her life would always know where to find her. “Papa....” Reluctant to cry, she had anyway. Legs shakily sliding against her chest as she buried her face into her arms wrapping around her knees. She shook, rocking into a rhythm back and forth loud sobs echoing from the corner she situated herself in. Unsure of whether or not her roommates could hear the sounds of crying coming from her room, trying to keep herself quiet in spite of her hearts woes. “Papa, you shouldn't have gone... All because you did... Mama couldn't be the same anymore. B-Because without you... We.. We couldn't be a family anymore...”
