New World, New Possibilities

Hey guys! Rylie here. Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend and drinking plenty of water! 

This evening I wanted to put together a brainstorming session for the new project I’m going to try to tackle. I’ve been working through a few ideas, and I’m thinking I’ll mash some of them together and try my hand at building a custom world in Sims 3 from the ground up! This way I can experiment with landscaping, home and community lots, different building and design styles; the works! So if you’re interested in seeing what we can come up with along the way feel free to join me for the journey on my YouTube or maaaybe even Twitch if I can figure that out! 

Some things I want to try so far:

Neighborhoods

Vista Village (some type of trailer park area, cheaper housing)

Affluere Hills (the rich, extravagant homes playing off of my own local hilled neighborhood and a district from a D&D homebrew world I’ve made)

Sunset Circle (nice middle of the road housing, comfy neighborhood)

Community Spaces

Center City (an area of the world with your basic lots like hospitals, city hall, police station, and other necessities)

Dusk Drive (a strip somewhere near Center City, where you will find the nightlife and excitement of the area, bars and clubs and maybe 18+ hangouts)

Shops/Small Businesses (a metaphysical shop, thrift stores, book store, craft market, things like that!)

Parks Galore (of course a variety of different public parks and hangouts, fishing spots, small and large scattered through neighborhoods and otherwise)

Other Ideas

The Wandering Woods (an area of the world with a small mix of residential and community lots, lots of fishing and rivers and trees, a longer drive out with a nature-loving vibe)

But I need your help!

I’m always open to ideas and suggestions and if you’d like to build this world with me, let me hear 'em! 

Specific Things I Need Help Figuring Out

Cemeteries (this is a necessity of course, but I’m not sure if I should do small one’s spread out through the world or one big community one or something? I’m open to suggestions!)

Ideas for cute small businesses to include!

What to name the world as a whole!

Anything else you come up with that could be a neat addition! The world is our oyster :)

A New build coming at you, this one’s a bit different...like me. Base game starter homes, same shell; 3 different styles. I want to highlight how easy it is to make dynamic and unique gameplay without needing every single pack ever to exist! They’re all under 20k, all base game only, and as always - CC free!  Each build is 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and is placed in Willow Creek.
