To be cliche, Jesus is with you. There's a reason it's cliche, because it's true.

But even so, those around you are carrying their own struggles, facing their own giants. I have mine as well as you have yours. Weaknesses, we all have them. If we didn't, we wouldn't need God.

I guess what I'm saying is this:

We need each other too. Let's stand together, confide in each other, uplift each other.

I’ll help in any way that I can

I was ready to post the next chapter of Despite Everything a few days ago, but then this horrible injustice happened and I couldn't find it in myself to post an update when the world was greiving . I’ve done what I could to support the #blacklivesmatter movement without advertising my contributions because I don't seek approval from anyone, I just want to help. Help end this cruel reality that we live in that has gone on for far too long. I may not be black, but my nephew is. One of my best friends is. And half of the world’s population is. My heart hurts, and I’m unable to comprehend what exactly goes through their heads when they kill innocent people just because of their skin color. Like my lovely 70 year old secretary said, fuck racists. And now I would like to make your day just a tiny bit better, by asking if you would like me to post the next chapter. If it will make enough people happy and shed a little light onto these dark times I’ll do it. If we all need more time to sort our feelings and focus on more important things, I’ll wait.

Representation

Representaton is so improtant, that I think we sometimes forget that it should not mean that we can erase other sexualities. We also seem to be okey with it if they give us a lesbian and/or gay couple. I know that I myself has sometimes watch shows that has done exactly this, and that makes me sick because I know how much representation means to myself.

Therefor I think it’s improtant that we all look at representation and think how one queer sexuality can not represent all queer sexualities. Especially when there are some sexualities that sometime gets ereased to make room for gay and/or lesbian couples. We should not let them pit us against each other, we all deserve representation, and we should all demand it and hold dem accauteble.

Now is not the time to be separated based on the election.

We all need to stand together. I am not happy about Trump winning, but we have to deal with the decision of this country. A change is coming, and hopefully... hopefully it will not be as bad as we are all believing it will be.
