I wanna talk briefly about the AI debate because some of the takes I've seen are very much pissing me off, especially since most of those takes aren't helpful at all (and some are just straight up bullying).
I already posted about this on my other blog (post in question has since been deleted since it was kinda harsh and ngl very dismissive of very valid concerns!), but the biggest issue I have with the Anti-AI crowd (And, to be honest, the AI debate in general) is that it feels like they're getting mad at the wrong things.
No, AI itself is not the problem.
No, someone calling themself an "AI artist" is not the problem.
No, using AI for fun is not the problem.
No, partaking in some AI trend is not the problem.
No, someone simply generating AI images is not the problem.
The actual problem is:
-People feeding other people's art into AI generators and then claiming it as their own (Scraping basically)
-People putting other people's writing into AI chatbots/AI text generators (ex. ChatGPT) to "finish" the fic (Again, scraping).
-People using AI to make eerily realistic Not SFW deepfakes of either people they know or celebrities.
-Corporations and companies screwing over artists, musicians and actors in favor of AI (such as replacing them).
-People using AI to make racist/queerphobic/misogynistic/ otherwise bigoted stuff (Something that I've also been seeing unfortunately)
-People not being honest about using AI (Transparency, people!)
-People using AI to mimic other people's voices without those people's consent (not sure how to word this but i'm sure some of you know what I mean).
-The fact that there's almost no regulations when it comes to AI.
AI gets a lot of criticism, and it should! Until it becomes more ethical and there's regulations imposed, we should still be skeptical of it. However, I feel like we've gone very off track when it comes to criticizing AI.
Personally, I don't think someone posting an AI-generated image of an elf with wings surrounded by mushrooms and rainbows makes them a thief by itself.. But if they made that image using someone else's art, then in that case yes they are a thief!
And no, someone partaking in the Pixar AI trend is probably not going to cost you your job. You know what will cost you your job though? Companies favoring AI over actual living beings.
So maybe instead of getting mad at someone using Character.AI or posting an AI-generated gothic phoenix, how about we get mad at corporations screwing artists/actors/musicians over and the people using AI with genuine malicious intent?

Let's talk about Exclusionists and how they harm the community they claim to protect: A collection of hate.
Welp! Pride Month is just around the corner, and with it, exclusionist and TERF rhetoric.
A few disclaimers before we get into this:
-While this is about the harmful things Exclusionists have done, I would like to add that the Inclusionist Community can be *just* as guilty of doing the things I'm about to mention.
-Furthermore, I believe that both the "Inclusionist" and "Exclusionist" labels are kind of pointless tbh, since being inclusive is just the bare minimum, y'know?
-TERFs and their variants will also be mentioned since TERF Rhetoric is a frequent thing in Exclusionist communities, especially in Longsword Lesbian communities.
-This is not intended to be a discourse post at all, this is mostly for educational purposes and awareness. Furthermore, I don't think being queer should be controversial at all.
-And of course, HEAVY trigger warning for the following: Exclusionism, TERF Rhetoric, Ableism, Suicide Bait, Encouragement of Violence and more.
For this post, I have collected screenshots of many hurtful things exclusionists have said, and evidence to prove links to rhetoric from non-queer homophobes. These are screenshots from Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram as well. I give credit to @/animefacialreconitionsoftware01 on Tumblr, Exclusionist Struggle Tweets on Twitter, exclusmoment on Instagram and many others for these screenshots.
So, hang on, what even is an exclusionist?
An exclusionist is a group of mostly queer individuals who attempt to gatekeep the LGBTQ+ Community by claiming certain groups aren't truly queer or "not queer enough".
Exclusionist can be used on it's own, but also as an umbrella term for other groups, such as:
Mspec Exclusionists (Battleaxe Bis) - A group of exclusionists that believe that other Multisexual labels outside of "Bi" are harmful, or that they're the same as bisexual. Their primary targets tend to be pansexuals and panromantics.
Transmedicalists - A group of mostly exclusionists (Mostly trans people, but occasionally cis people), who believe that you must meet a certain number of requirements in order to be Transgender. While every transmedicalist has different views, the most common opinion is that dysphoria is required to be trans. One well known Transmedicalist is Kalvin Garrah.
Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminists (TERF) - One of the most recognizable Exclusionist groups. While TERFs aren't inherently queer, their rhetoric can overlap with many other groups (Especially Longsword Lesbians and Transmedicalists on some occasions), so they get a mention here. There's not really much to say about them, outside of the fact that they're simply transmisic feminists. Their primary targets include trans women, but they may also target trans men, nonbinary folks, bisexuals and other mspec groups, intersex folks and sometimes ace/aro folks. The group also has *several* links to white supremacy.
Longsword Lesbians - Speaking of Longsword Lesbians, this is a group that intends to fight lesbian erasure. This one might have had good intentions at first, but then started excluding other lesbians, becoming an exclusionist group, though I can't get much information on it's origins. Their primary targets include Nonbinary Lesbians, Mspec Lesbians and PNC Lesbians. They may also exclude GNC lesbians and trans lesbians, though not all of them do.
Gravity Knife Gays - Exclusionists that target other gay men, primary nonbinary gays, Mspec Gays and PNC Gays. They may also target GNC gay men and trans gay men, though not all of them do.
Aspec Exclusionists - I don't think I need to explain this one.
So, why are they bad?
Well, there's evidence on how it's bad.
Outside of erasure and gatekeeping harmless identities, a lot of exclusionists have a straight up habit of harassing other queer folks or calling for harassment.
And there's plenty of evidence to prove it as well.
I'm going to warn you, some of these contain suicide bait and slurs. Please proceed with caution if that sort of thing stresses you out. Some words are censored to avoid getting banned (and for my own comfort as well).
Obviously, you have the ones that are simple gatekeeping, which is almost always bad.

I *was* originally going to give this person the benefit of the doubt and assume they were joking, but when I looked they had a *lot* of TERFy shit on their blog, so they were definitely serious.

And then, there's folks that will take it to more extreme levels, like these fellas.
This one might not be calling for harassment, but it is *heavily* implied.

For those wondering, the last censored word is the r-slur.

A lot of exclusionist posts also have a *lot* of suicide bait in them as well, such as these ones shown below.
Again, scroll with caution if you are sensitive to these sorts of things. There is also an f-slur being used with malicious intent in one of these.

And then there's some that will just straight up admit to hating certain groups and even harassing them. Others will admit to being fucking proud of their bigotry.

It should be obvious on why this is bad. Advocating for harassment or straight up violence, or telling someone to hurt themselves over their identity is NEVER a good thing no matter how you look at it. No buts, whats or ifs.
And that's not even the end of this either.
There's also some exclusionists who will restate the *same exact* rhetoric that Anti-LGBTQ+ people spew around.
Here's a look.
TERF rhetoric (And invalidation of nonbinary identities)

Some will admit to straight up misgendering people as well. Again, seems familiar?

*More* TERF rhetoric (I would also like to point out that the saying "men are trash" is almost always a red flag, no matter the intent, due to it's high usage with TERFs).

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, a *LOT* of Exclusionists I've seen are also incredibly ableist and racist as well.
Many Exclusionists claim that some queer groups harm neurodivergent folks and POC, but... are we *really* sure about that?

And there's a SHITTON more too. But I could never do it justice in this post, especially with TERFs.
Now, before you exclusionists come at me with "But NOT ALL OF US ARE LIKE THAT!" or "Inclusionists do this too!"
First off, I am fully aware that inclusionists are guilty of some of these as well, which is why I don't use the inclusionist label.
But that's besides the point, I don't care if you're not like the folks in this post. I don't care if not every exclusionist is like this.
THIS is what Exclusionism promotes. THIS is what Exclusionism encourages. Exclusionism is always going to encourage harassment and infighting. No matter how civil you are, no matter how "chill" you are, no matter how "nice you are, it doesn't matter in the end. By excluding other queer folks from queer spaces, you are actively condoning harassment. No, I don't want to hear any excuses. Exclusionism has and always will be harmful to other queer communities.

Let's talk about Radical Feminists and TERFs: Another collection of hate.
(Content Warning: Pretty much everything, but especially transmisia, particularly transmisogyny, eugenics and other Nazi rhetoric, racism, intersexism, slur usage, mentions of not sfw topics/not sfw sentences and mentions of sexual assault. Reader discretion is especially advised on this, as this is probably one of the most triggering posts I've ever created).
Additional Disclaimer: Like with my "Let's Talk about Exclusionists" post, I've collected multiple screenshots of the horrid things TERFs and other Radfems have said or done. Not all of those screenshots are mine, some of them are things I have found on the web. Credits to especially radfemstruggles (Twitter), terfism-harms-women, terf-cringe and other anti-terf pages/blogs I've found these on.
As always, I don't condone harassment. Just because someone is a TERF doesn't give you the right to harass them, especially considering a good chunk of TERFs I've noticed are literal teenagers (of course, that never excuses their actions). Just report them and block.
Pride month is over, but that doesn't mean queer folks are going away.
However, neither are the bigots, and especially not the TERFs. Nope. They're still out there and as harmful as ever.
"Now, wait a minute Shadow. What even *IS* a TERF anyway?"
Well, you're gonna be in for one hell of a ride, so buckle up sunshine.
TERF is short for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist. Put simply, Transphobic "feminists".
TERFs align themselves with Radical Feminism- Radfem for short, a very extreme branch of feminism. However, not every Radfem is a TERF, though Radfems are still best to be avoided due to their extreme ideology. (Likewise, not every feminist is a Radfem, let alone a TERF).
How to Identify a TERF: Common Dogwhistles and Nicknames.
TERFs won't call themselves a TERF by themselves. In fact, some consider the term to be a slur (News flash: no it is fucking not lmfao). There are many dogwhistles, and I can't fit all of them in here. However here's the most common ones:
Gender Critical - a very *VERY* common identifer by TERFs.
MERF - Short for Male Exclusionary Radical Feminist. It basically calls trans women men and also ignores the fact that there are, contrary to popular belief, men that are also feminists.
"TERF is a slur/Cis is a slur" - A common dogwhistle. The latter is also used by transphobes in general.
Misandrist/Proud Misandrist - Misandrist refers to hatred of men. The term originated from misogynists as a counter to feminism, however the term has been reclaimed by radfems. However, a good majority of folks who identify with this term are transphobic, so it should best be avoided.
Womyn/Wombyn and their varients - Alternative spellings of "woman/women". Per Wikipedia, "Some writers who use such alternative spellings, avoiding the suffix "-man" or "-men", see them as an expression of female independence and a repudiation of traditions that define women by reference to a male norm." The term "womxn" is also used in some cases, however that term should not be a sole identifier, as "womxn" is also sometimes used by agender individuals. "Womyn" alone is also not a sole identifier, as there are some who try to reclaim it (that and there's also something about it being used in AAVE, but I can't find much info on that). However, "Womyn-born woman" should be an instant red flag.
KAM - Short for K-ll all men (i). Even without the TERFy connections, I don't think I need to explain why this is bad.
--It should also be noted that any variation of "all men are trash" is inherently TERFy, no matter how you look at it. You'll see why in a bit.
Hygenic - Another term used by TERFs. It also references eugenics, explained further in this post.
FebFem - Short for "Female Exclusive Bisexual Female". This term is common in TERF spaces, especially with Bi TERFs. However, there have been attempts to reclaim the term from the group.
Similar groups that overlap - Should also be avoided:
SWERF - Short for Sex Worker Exclusionary Radical Feminist. This group is against the objectification of women, sex trafficking and the exploitation of women in pornography. Sounds harmless right? Wrong. While it appears good intentioned at first, most SWERFs are against sex work overall, believing that women can't *truly* partake in sex work willingly. This group also overlaps with TERFs, 99% of the time, though not every SWERF is a TERF. Due to sex work being a topic that gets pretty NSFW, I won't be going over this group in this post any further outside of mentions, since I'm not qualified to talk about NSFW topics as a minor. There are, however, probably several other posts that talk about this particular group.
TEHM - Short for Trans Exclusionary Homosexual Males. The same as TERFs, but with homosexual men instead of women.
Enby Skeptics - A group skeptical of nonbinary identities, as shown by the name. Some TERFs may identify with this term.
Longsword Lesbian/Gravity Knife Gays/Gold Star Lesbian - See here for more information regarding these groups.
LGB/LGB Drop the T - A movement that claims that being Trans isn't queer.
It should go without saying - TERFs aren't harmless.
TERFs aren't just some weird basement dwellers on the internet. Nope. They exist *everywhere*. You know JK Rowling? She's a TERF! And probably one of the most recognizable TERFs out there (she's also a lot more bigoted beyond transphobia, so yeah).
However, this post will mostly cover the online aspect of TERFism, since even the online world can seep into danger in real life.
So, without further ado, let's get into the hate.
Note: This post covers Radical Feminism in general, however the main focus is TERFs and similar groups.
Of course, you have the transphobia, slurs and suibait.

Seriously they're not even trying to hide the transphobia.

However, the transphobia, as despicable as it is, is not the only thing that makes TERFs dangerous.
TERFs have also even went as far as to advocate for violence, as shown here.

Also, here is something I've noticed.
Notice how Radfems talk about abuse, particularly sexual abuse.
In conversations regarding such a topic, women are usually brought up as the victims. Male victims are almost never mentioned, and when you bring them up they accuse you of not caring about male victims because you brought them up when talking about women.
Well, you might not think much of it, but it goes deeper than just misinformation and being insensitive.
TERFs don't care about male victims either. In fact, they don't care about sexual assault survivors at all if you look hard enough.
In fact, if the victim is a male, they actually *encourage* it. And will sometimes admit to even *wanting* to do the same thing to men.
Here's one *literally* repeating a common misogynistic argument, but with men at the focus.

...this post makes me sick just by looking at it alone.

And this one is even *worse*

The reply is "Male "sex workers" make up an incredibly tiny amount of "sex workers", and while I think prostituted men deserve to get out of it as well, they're pimped and rped by men, which makes it a male-on-male issue and not a priority for feminists").
The point of feminism is gender equality for ALL and fighting the patriarchy. This however is not feminism. This only shows that you don't actually care about gender equality.
Here's one straight up admitting to want to abuse people.

...All I'm gonna say about that one is that I hope this individual never EVER gets into a relationship or has kids, and if they're already in a relationship I genuinely feel sorry for their partner and I hope said partner leaves them.
And here's someone who sent a sexual assault wish to a literal *minor* (And when called out on it they said the screenshot was "fake").

Well, someone in the comments of said post mentioned that it reminded them of "Racial Hygiene". Now, what is "Racial Hygiene"?
Well... according to Wikipedia, it refers to "an approach to eugenics in the early 20th century, which found its most extensive implementation in Nazi Germany (Nazi eugenics)."
So basically, it's eugenics. Specifically, Nazi eugenics.
And with TERFs using the term "hygienic", they're saying that Trans people are inherently dirty by genetics.
You might think this is a reach, but with everything shown here, there's clearly more to it.

Seriously. Don't let the "feminist" label fool you. TERFs and Radfems do not care about gender equality or women's rights. They are using the feminist label and women's rights as an excuse for their transphobia and other bigotry.
They do not care about sexual assault survivors. They do not care about women of color. They do not care about disabled women.
In fact, they only advocate for the very abuse they claim to be against. They advocate for the racism and nazism they claim to be against. Don't let them fool you.

Aspec Exclusionist Identifiers
So far I only found one Anti-Aspec flag, however I can't find much information on it. Still, best to keep an eye out for it.

There are many common identifiers used by allosexual Aspec Exclusionists, including:
"Aces/Aros aren't LGBT" - the most recognizable identifier.
Any use of the word "Cishet" as an identifier for Ace/Aro.
-Just for clarification, this refers to exclus who believe that Aspecs aren't LGBTQ+ because they're "Just cishets". However, keep in mind that there *are* Aspec folks who *do* also consider themselves cishet, and that they are still valid!
Denial of Aces/Aros being oppressed.
However, one thing I don't see many people talk about is the fact that there are also Exclusionary Aspec individuals, which is a surprise because those exclusionists are a *lot* more common than what you might think.
Some identifiers of this specific group include.
"Asexuality/Aromanticism isn't a Spectrum" - yes people genuinely believe this.
Equating Asexuality with being Sex Repulsed, or that all Aromantics are also Romance Repulsed - Something that can easily be seen as misinformation, however some people *do* genuinely use this to exclude other Aspecs too sadly.
"If you feel attraction, you're not Ace/Aro".
Anvil Aro - A term sometimes used by Exclusionary Aros.
Mspec Lesbian/Gay Exclusionist Identifiers
Since Mspec Gay/Lesbian Exclusionism is almost entirely normalized, there isn't much warning signs. However here are some of the obvious ones I found.
Anti-Mspec Lesbian and their varients.
Anything that calls Mspec Lesbians or Lesboys predatory.
Anything that says/implies that Mspec Lesbians "invite cis men to date/harass them" (This is *incredibly* victim blamey as well).
Any variation of Lesbians "not being men" or "not liking men". (Outside of the blatant TERF rhetoric, it also ignores the idea of closeted lesbians dating men to hide their identity as well as ignoring queer history).
And here's an Anti-Mspec Lesbian flag that I've seen mostly on Twitter.

Additional Exclusionist Identifiers
Safequeer - A relatively new term that excludes Mspec Monos *and* Endogenic Systems.
Anti-SAM/Anti-Split Attraction Model - Commonly used by Aspec Exclusionists and Mspec Mono Exclusionists.
Safequeer Flags:

Some Safequeers might also identify themselves using a Lotus flower, however the lotus can also mean multiple things. It's best to check.
Not Queer Exclusionary, but still exclusionist nonetheless:
Sysmed/Anti-Endos - Plural individuals that target Endogenic Systems and other Non-Traumagenic systems, believing that you need trauma or DID/OSDD to be a system. Some Sysmeds are queer, but others are not.
Sysmeds are also referred to as Traumascum, however this term should not be used to address anti-endos due to it's ableist and victim-shaming connotations (There are, however, some anti-endos that also use the term, though it's not widely used by them likely for the reasons I just listed.)
Anti Endo MOGAI or AEMOGAI- A MOGAI group that excludes Endogenic systems.
An "Anti-Fake Systems" flag apparently made by an Anti-Endo, however I can't find much information on it. Still, best to keep an eye for it.

Again, you see *anyone* with these flags, with these keywords, or with any kind of rhetoric I explained here, block them *instantly*.
Good morning everyone. Normally I don't make posts like this but I feel like it's necessary in this case. No DNI on this post since this is extremely important (that and I'll be out of town for the weekend anyway so I can't be assed to block anyone).
Recently, there's been two scammers going around: sophieemichjuliee and pumpkinhalloween. Both of them have posts talking about cats in need.
Here's what they look like.
DO. NOT. DONATE. TO. THEM. They are scammers. They have been going around sending asks to random people asking for donations, which is always an automatic red flag.

I don't have any proof about pumpkinhalloween at this time, however it's very likely it might be an alt, as the account has the same profile picture as sophieemichjuliee.
Speaking of, sophieemichjuliee is also trying to impersonate another individual as well. That person being @luckypoppymilliemama (who, fyi sorry to tag you but I feel like you might need to be aware of this if you aren't already).
Here is the scammer's profiles, so you can block and report.
I'll try to update this as much as I can once I come back from being AFK, since apparently the second one also changes their url every so often.
Also, here's a quick tip: If someone sends you an ask or a private message about mutual aid, or asking for donations, DO NOT DONATE TO THEM. Because chances are, they're a scammer.
Edit: I'd also like to add that these accounts are pretty fucking new (pumpkinhalloween was made and started posting 15 hours ago, while sophieemichjuliee was made only two hours ago, posting around that same time), which is already suspicious. However, the accounts have similar features and behaviors (both of them reblogged their own post atleast twice, both of them appear to be 23 years old, both have the same profile picture of a person and a cat that isn't even theirs, and both of them have the words "Sophie" and "Mich" somewhere in their bio or name, not helping their case.
Edit 2: Looks like both of them deactivated. Won't be deleting this post in case they come back, however I'll turn off reblogs in the meantime.
