For my final album I am of course, no surprise, sharing "Grease." Grease is the word, is the word that you heard. Well, the Christmas I got my #Grease album and my bike was the best Christmas ever. Full stop. The best memory of this is going to see it at The Cinedome with my Mom. During "Beauty School Dropout" she started laughing so hard that she was crying and she couldn't stop. I was 8 and had no idea why it was so funny but watching my Mom laugh like that was the best. The guy sitting two rows in front of us turned around and whisper yelled "WHAT'S SO FUNNY?!" She laughed harder. My neighbors and I used to play dress-up to "Grease" too. We'd put on old pantyhose with runs in them, dresses, and out of date clothes and act out the movie. I made the rule that I got to play Sandy because my hair feathered. We would dance and sing and have a blast. Going back to childhood today. @shankapotamus76 and I would play this over and over. Between this record and the VHS we have the entire movie memorized. My parents also played the movie at our theatre in Downey, Idaho. Between this and "The Rescuers" full movie album, it was like having our own private movie theatre. If you could see the faces I make when I silently sing along karaoke style while I record these, you would all laugh off your collective asses. This album I also have on cassette and Tellie and I would sing this word for word on the way to school or anywhere frankly. At home I would lie on my back next to the speakers and sing along to #IKnowHimSoWell like I had actually had my heart broken before. For 4/20 #LedZeppelin seemed appropriate. I chose to do both of the albums in my Dad's collection. The song he played the most from "Swan Song" was "Black Country Woman" and listening to it again today I see why. The harmonica, man. I used to stare at the cover of #SwanSong for hours. The photos are hella provocative, particularly for a ten year old. It was like a puzzle to get which photos to match which windows and what did they mean? My second favourite cover after Captain Fantastic. Not my favourite @thebeatles album (Revolver is the best, come at me) but most definitely the most intriguing cover. Plus, it has #Yesterday and #DriveMyCar (which is my Dad's favourite.) I would play this album and have a serious disconnect between the music and the photo. I mean, I was 10. My Dad used to try and scare me that they were real dead babies.
