Violence
This generation of women only know that it’s dangerous to walk home alone at night.
They only know to have their keys in between their fingers, in case something happens and they need self defense.
They are the ones getting taught self defense classes at age 9 because from the age of 14 they are harassed and cat called to no end.
Let’s stop the violence.
Let’s stop the fear.

We, as fans, know absolutely NOTHING about the personal life of Norman Reedus! He shows us only what he wants to share with us and, yes he is very open with what he does choose to share, but that does not mean we know anything about his circumstances, his feelings, his interests, who he is or is not dating or why. The man has a personal life and, god forbid, he actually has a RIGHT to it!!! How would you feel if your every association was scrutinized and every girlfriend/boyfriend was villainized (within the NR fandom but still semi publicly)? How would you feel if those that you love and support and genuinely want to make happy turned on you the moment you did something they didn't agree with? How would you feel if, based on a single picture or glance or tweet, people made drastic assumptions and judgements about you and declared them boldly? Now, I realize that he is a celebrity but that old argument of "he knew what he got himself into and should just take it" is fucking bullshit!! Just because someone has chosen the performing arts as a career does not give the public the right to treat people in a horribly despicable manner!
Norman Reedus is OUR biggest supporter...let's be his.
I hope it goes without saying that this is not directed towards all his fans but a select few and I realize I have no right to tell anyone how to "be a fan" but there are some lines that simply should be respected.
