Consider this my official I'm back from the dead post — crawling out of the void like a Winchester after a hunt gone wrong…except this time, I'm choosing to stay. No more ghosting, no more disappearing acts. Dean would call it a ggetting my shit together” era — and honestly? He'd be right.

2026 hasn't exactly been gentle with me. It started with health issues, then my breakup, then work stress hitting differently when you're the one in charge…and somewhere along the way, I kind of lost myself. I never called it what it was, but looking back, it definitely felt like a quiet little spiral — a mini depression I didn't fully notice while I was in it.

And just when I started picking myself back up again…life said "round two" and I tore a ligament in my ankle two days ago. Because apparently we're doing full drama this season.

But here's the thing: I'm not letting this pull me back under.

If anything, I'm taking it as a sign to slow down, to breathe, and to come back to what I love most: writing, creating, escaping into my stories…

So yes: I'm back at my desk (okay, realistically: on my terrace, laptop on my knees, with actual sunshine for once because spring is finally showing up in germany☀️) and I'm pouring myself back into my work.

You should definitely stay tuned…

"Lessons of desire" is far from over — not even close. And "Hunters don't do holidays"? Yeah…we might be a little late to the party, but trust me, we're still showing up.

Writing update: Beyond the Romance

I finally spent some time last week working on the dialogue for Chapter 3 where the MC can actually voice being Asexual, Aromantic, or AroAce. I’ll be honest, this was long overdue. While I’ve always wanted i-doll to be an inclusive space, "implying" an identity isn't the same as giving it a clear, voiced place in the story.

I know some games prefer a big bang approach where you define your MC’s entire look, personality, and orientation in the first five minutes. But for i-doll, I’ve always felt that natural growth is better. I’d much rather you discover who your MC is through their actions and reactions as the story unfolds, rather than just ticking boxes in a menu at the start.

For me, the most rewarding part of writing this isn't just the romance... it’s the human interactions and the psychological difficulty of handling high-pressure environments. I want to see how these different personalities clash when the cameras are on, and off ohhh when they're off .

Allowing the MC to define themselves this way, in their own time, fits that vision perfectly. Plus, it leaves plenty of room for those fourth-wall breaks we all know and love. 😉

I’m still figuring this story out one step at a time, and I’m so grateful to have a community that’s patient enough to go on this journey with me. 💜💚

Posting Update

Hey friends 💛

I wanted to give a quick update about my posting schedule. I’m going to be shifting back to posting three days a week for a little while.

Right now I’m dealing with both autistic burnout and some ongoing medical stuff, and I need to get better at balancing everything in my life—work, writing/posting, grad school, my student program, self-care, and just… existing with chronic health things.

Update: Bad Things

Since there is no circumstance, I am back to handle this acc. Currently, I’m writing Bad Things. It will be my first ever Oneshot. Hence, it will take some time to be completed! Have a nice day, everyone.

Writing Update: I accidentally left a book out of this pic... Dammit. ANYWAY! Hola a todas, some sequel news. Book 2 in The Call for Finis series, Lust, is written... I don't remember if I said this already, but if I did, here it is again lol. Book 2 is written. I'm just focusing on getting RaF ready for publication next year. However, my Alpha Reader doesn't have much chapters left of TCfFL. Once he's done reading through this book, then I get to open TCfFL up for beta readers. The ones attached to my Discord will get the news first, followed by friends, followed by... Followers lol. But everything is coming along! Promise. I've learned a lot after writing TCFP and RaF that I'm much more well prepared writing TCfFL. I just hope you guys like this new story in this standalone connected series. hello everyone!

Thank you for your patience and understanding about my taking a break. I’m still dealing with a lot of stuff behind the scenes but I’m actually starting work on my first novel! For now it’s fanfiction based in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, but I may one day make it into something original.

Other than that I’ve been trying to stay on top of my health and try to finish that second part to Extending Hospitality and a few other fics!

I’ll be back and active soon.
