Seeking a penpal

Recently I've been craving someone to exchange letters with, and maybe occasionally some small goodies as well (pressed flowers, photos, tea etc etc) I used to have a number of penpals for years while I was in highschool, but fell out of it as I became older. Like I said, I'm 26, I'm also female, so I would prefer to write with someone 21-35, I'm not too picky with age but will not include minors. I'm also not picky about gender. I live in Florida, and would prefer to write to someone within the states, but I'm willing to write internationally as well ☺️ I'm a writer and an artist as well as an avid reader. I love cryptids and spooky things and true crime, and of course I love a good podcast. salut! looking for a french accontability partner

hello everyone :) i’m bringing my blog back to live to interact with people in the language learning area, specially french! i’ve recently re-started my journey on learning french and i would love to put all my knowledge into practice with someone (whether it could be online, via letter or videocall). here’s a couple of things about me! - i’m 25 years old, & i’m native spanish & fluent in english  - i quite understand written french & listening, but speaking and writting are not my best hehe - i’ve studied dietetics & currently studying psych at uni!  - i love talking about books, music, psychology, hobbies or anything really! i enjoy talking, sharing and getting to know new people i also have another blog that i’m more active in, it’s this one :) hope to find new people to talk to about language learning or practicing my target language. salut et bon soir!

Looking for a Pen Pal

Hi fellow pen pal seekers! My name is Ren and I used to have a couple Tumblr pen pals in University who I lost touch with. I really miss the snail mail experience and getting to know people in that unique way, so I wanted to see if there’s anyone who might be interested in exchanging letters. More about me if your interested: I’m 25 years old, an AFAB Nonbinary bisexual + Poly person and I’m from Turtle Island, or Canada, specifically Toronto/Tkaranto. I am into cartoons and anime (Nana, Fruits Basket, Studio Ghibli, Arcane, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, OTGW, Bee + Puppycat, Bojack Horseman are some of my faves). I love to read and my embarrassing weakness is fae fantasy romance (ACOTAR, The Cruel Prince series). I am an amateur sewer who is getting into making their own clothes and cosplay. A hobby I am tryin to resume at the moment is working out and pole dancing classes. Hey there. My name is (crossed out and scribbled over) Echo. Or you can give me any other nickname you like, I don’t mind :)

How do I even start this? Just jumping into saying “I think I was kidnapped and now I’m in some weird hellish escape-room-esque house which seems to be stuck in the middle of the void and there are weird letters appearing out of nowhere” seems wrong somehow.

…I say, as I then start off the letter with that.

Okay. So. To elaborate/explain. I fell asleep in my bed, and woke up in a different bed. When I started to explore, I realized I was in a small apartment, a little like mine. What seems to be the front door is locked, and chained up with a bunch of chains too. Looking out the windows and all around, I can’t see anything but the exterior of the house. And I mean NOTHING. As in, it looks like it’s just empty void all around. Though, it could admittedly be some sort of lighting trick, I guess? Anyhow, I decided not to try climbing out the windows.

Actually, there’s a lot of stuff around. I don’t think I want to describe it all just now. Not until I actually know someone’s getting these. It’s pointless otherwise.

Anyhow. As for “weird letters appearing out of nowhere,” well. Just half an hour ago, a stack of papers and envelopes appeared out of absolutely nowhere on a desk, along with a pen and a pencil, and an envelope addressed to me. The letter inside, from a person named “Inky,” told me that if I write a letter and send it, some “certain people” in other universes might find it, read it, and possibly write something back to me. Maybe even help me get out of here.

Even if the idea that a letter could somehow reach an alternate universe is kind of ridiculous to me, I mean, I guess there probably isn’t any harm in giving it a shot? So, if you get this, I’d really, really appreciate it if you could send something back.

Letter Exchange Event!

It’s that time of the year again. The wintry holiday season! And like a migratory bird, I’ve come back with the letter exchange event I did last year. I’m a bit late this time, but oh well. Tumblr is that box under my bed I open to see a glimpse of happier times. I haven’t opened it a lot recently though. Yet as this terrible year comes to an end, I find myself making the expected return.

So. Letters. I love them - writing and reading both! Last year, I had this desire to receive a letter from a beloved character of mine. Hence, this exchange event was born. The idea is simple: to give each other a letter written from the perspective of whatever Tolkien character we’d like it to be from. If you’re interested, reply or message me before the 21st and we can figure the rest out.

I’m hoping to do the exchange on New Year’s Eve, in the form of submissions. Hoping to hear from you!
