9 Days Until LetterTale's 6th Anniversary! Here's a wonky ass Gabe for you, pretend he had a bad hair day. Anyways this fact includes some ableism, specifically to autistic folk and those with Antisocial Personality Disorder. So if you feel uncomfortable with that, scroll away!

I created the Nekane Condition based on the demonization I personally faced with my mother's side of the family due to my autism. Even worse, it also applied to my uncle with Antisocial Personality Disorder. We were both outcasted from most family events because most of the family viewed us as emotionless monsters. I used to be angry at my uncle for this, as autism was only viewed like this because he used to pretend he was diagnosed with autism and not ASPD/APD (what do people shorten Antisocial to??)

I now understand though that my uncle only did that thinking they wouldn't react as terribly to that then if they were just told the truth originally. He got better anyways, so its not like I should still be angry over something that happened before I was even born.

However my mom is still horribly ableist, especially towards my uncle. I created the Nekane Condition to vent my frustrations, and to show that even if there are bad people who seem to fit these stereotypes (like Mr. Greyson), there's some people who don't and everyone should be shown respect.

I made an undertale au

Basically everyone in this au delivers letters to their counterparts

I only drew sans bc i'm tired

There are 2 versions of the outfit

The masculine one (with pants)

And the femenine one (with a skirt)

And everyone is free to choose which one they prefer

Also they wear a cloak and gloves when it's cold

The blue sygil on the bag is actually a button that opens a holographic list of aus they can travel to and opens a portal

All of the monsters in the underground got accosted with the soul of responsibility and now their souls look like this

I will explain the soul of responsibility later in the lore

Long version vv

I love my AU but to be honest, it has been ruining my mental health. I originally made it as a continuation to my AU, ResetTale, back in late 2020. I was in a horrible mental state back then, and it got way worse over the years, which I then expressed using LetterTale characters

However since December, I have been in a much better environment with tons of therapy. I have been doing much better physically, emotionally, and mentally. However everytime I go back to LetterTale, all those miserable thoughts come back due to just... its topics. LetterTale is a fucking upsetting piece, that if I decide to put my full attention on it again it will destroy me. Don't get me wrong, I still like writing dark topics but.... LetterTale is just too much. The edge is basically stabbing me

Besides the topics being upsetting, it has so many rewrites that working on it is exhausting and gives me a headache. So much I have to remember, such a big project for a boy who just started highschool. I don't even understand algebra, how the fuck am I supposed to write such a deep and complex story, especially when I want it to have as little flaws as possible. It will probably always be super flawful, and there's so much I don't like from it or just want to improve on that I would have to rewrite so much already

I also just lost the passion for writing THSC. I love seeing other people's works of it, but I personally don't care for making it myself anymore. I can't tell of its because my 4 year hyperfixation finally died off or if it's caused by LetterTale or something like that. But either way, I just can't bring myself to write the silly stick figures in traumatizing horrific torture anymore

I'm also into TF2 now and I wanna do that. I love those sillies and how lighthearted (though lore filled and sometimes devasting) it is. I think its a much easier thing for me to do because its a little simpler, less dark, and much MUCH less exhausting to even just think about. I have a few drawings of them already if you guys are interested, not that it matters too much because I'll probably post it anyways.
