Took my littlest one to adoration tonight and she took this #iPhonepic when I wasn’t looking. Always the little photographer. I love how she sees her world. Kneeling in the Presence of Our Lord tonight I had another epiphany. The image of the baby in the manger before us, just below the resurrected Christ over the altar, and the Bread of the Presence glorious behind the incense veil - His Mother nearby taking it all in to ponder in her heart. My little girl singing her heart out at the top of her lungs love songs to our Savior. Her little hand grasping mine. THIS isn’t our world any longer, it’s His - and He gave it to the little children. So now it’s hers. And I love what she shows me about it. ❤️💙💛 “He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. Day 5: I am ever so gratful for my ability to feel everything around me so deeply. I used to think being sensitive was a curse, it sure felt like one. I was picked on and bullied for it pretty badly for the longest time, one of the things that probably led to the insecurities I've had to face growing up. Made me feel like my personality sucked and I was completely uncomfortable being myself for the longest time that I had no idea who I was because I suppressed thinking it make everything better. It's taken a few years to get myself back and I have to say with every step towards the new me I'm feeling better and more confident than before. I came to realize my sensitivity was a blessing because of how deeply I feel everything it makes the good things really really good. It makes the little things stand out and sometimes life seems to be made of the little things so I very much have started appreciating the sensitive side of me. Without this side of me I wouldn't be even close to being the person who I love today. #365daysofgratitude #ahhfeelings #itsok #letthemcome #letthemgo 🕉
