Just as he was bracing himself for the embarrassment of a group of boys faking their niceness to him someone yanked on the boy’s ear and Tendou was sure to get an eye full as S/O said, “R/n, if you don’t quit being a dick in 5 seconds I’m gonna hand you a new one. Now get lost you asshole.” With embarrassment the boy said, “Tch, whatever. You’re such a buzzkill Y/n, you know that?” The group left soon after
You sighed and went over to Tendou. “I’m sorry you had to put up with their shit, their jerks anyways. How about I make it up to you by going to the cafe nearby and give you a drink.” He found it quite pleasing how quickly your personal could change from a person with full hatred towards another to a kind and gentle one with care in their heart. “If getting pushed around a bit leads to us meeting I think it was worth it.” You chuckled as you lead him to the shop
Little would either of you know how your relationship would blossom after that but he knew that he cared for you as much as you did for him in that moment.

You were Nekoma’s manager but you didn’t really know anyone on the team yet, you only knew Kenma since he was quiet but easy to talk to
You were walking into the second practice you’d been hoping that maybe today you become more friendly with the team but when you went in you saw a tall boy pouting alone. You already knew his name was Lev and on the team so with all your strength you went over to strike up a conversation.
“Hey there, is everything alright, you look kind of upset.” Before he could start you heard chuckling from behind you and saw Yaku and Kuroo walking up to you two together with Yaku saying, “That idiot failed his last test and might not be able to play if he doesn’t keep stepping things up.” He laughed and you could tell how badly Lev was hurting so you asked him, “Well, if you’re having trouble I can do my best to help you study so that you can bring your grades up. Would you be alright with that?” His once gloomy self cheered up a bit as he said, “You’d really do that for me?” “Of course, I’m always here for a helping hand if needed. Oh and also,” You turned to Yaku and Kuroo, with a deadly glare you proceeded and said “it would be in your best mindset to not treat your teammates like shit, I’d hate to bring this up to coach but I’m sure you understand, right?” the tension of the room changed very quickly with your tone. A chill ran down both of their spines as they backed away and chanted they would do it again.(We all know that was a lie)
“So how about every Wednesday after practice we study together.” “That would be great, thank you SOOO much Y/n!” He hugged you so tightly you stopped breathing for a bit.
Practice was about to start so you both went to get ready but for the rest of the day he thought about you not realizing how much he’d end up loving you after that.

He wouldn’t have an exact event of when he realized you were the one. He just realized that you were the one overtime when you were the only one who wouldn’t treat him like a prop.(compared to his numerous fangirls)
His team would joke saying how opposites attracted was with the two of you but the only opposite was you and everyone else. You talked to him the way you did everyone else and kept him level headed when he needed it. When he realized how honestly your feelings for him were, that's when he knew you had to be the one for him and he was the one for you.
