Witch’s Castle: Level 15
Moves: 32
🎯 Potions: 26
Rewards: 1 Golden Star Jelly, 50+160 Coins, 3 Crushing Boulders
⚙️ The Crushing Boulder is introduced in this level. It acts as a vertical counterpart of the Star Bow, although each one has its own unique role. As for the level itself, the tutorial use for the Boulder removes 8 Potions, leaving you with 18 to play with. This is also one of the first levels to introduce gaps in the center of the board or otherwise, making the board harder to match around.
This level *should* be the first level where you can freely use Cookie Skills and other Cookies at your own pace (and life gauge expenses) if you use Golden Star Jellies as soon as you get them.
Potions and other jellies will fall through open gaps if the space beneath said gap is cleared, but these gaps can’t be reclaimed or filled by any means. Moving the Potions below these gaps in this level is vital, as it makes them easier to clear out with manual moves compared to skills and power jellies.
Puzzle Item - Crushing Boulder: Clears out a chosen column of jellies, destroying obstacles and breakable objectives in the way. Super effective at opening up columns to work with, as well as paving a way for Pretzel Keys. Useful for removing columns of junk jellies you know you can’t manually pop.
Sinai has recently upgraded her Cobalt Soul robes since her first set was partially destroyed in a fight against an efreeti.
Since she’s been doing more heavy fighting and faces more threats these days, she feels like the long cumbersome robes of a mage were less conducive.
Instead, she’s swapped for something more along the lines of a tunic with armbands used to wrap the wrists for padded protection under her armguards, but can be unfurled for a longer bell look for more formal occasions.
She also carries a Bag of Holding and a few other trinkets or magic items, but they’re small and valuable, so she tends to hide them under her cloak or in the backpack.
She is loaded with the following visible gear:
Backpack containing a bedroll, 50ft rope, hammer, water skin, and multiple stakes.
On her belt sash she carries the Corpse Slayer longsword, her book of notes, the Soul Cage, and The Chosen's Reliquary.
In her hands are the Patient's Hand Glass and the Staff of the Tower Warden for the Tower of Wrettis.
She wears the remnants of a purple sash, her dark woolen cloak, and her adamantine half plate armor.
And the Earring of Whispers on her left ear.
Ha. Fjord Tough.
