one of my favorite things about leverage is how no matter how bad you think the con is going, James Sterling will always pop up and make it worse for the crew

Hey did you notice in The Van Gogh Job, the mark agrees to tell his story to Parker because he saw her being caring/loving to Hardison by giving him a tissue when he sneezed. Hey did you notice at the end of the episode Eliot giving Hardison a tissue when he sneezed ?
I love when I hit the Rashomon Job in a rewatch. Just the funniest episode! The increasingly unhinged descriptions of the other characters is just perfection.
Parker and Nate are so smug through all of it too.
Also I like that Sophie and Eliot remember a corkscrew blade but Hardison and Parker remember a giant butcher knife. Cause I 💯 believe Parker would have grabbed the biggest knife available in that moment for the distraction. And apparently Nate agrees because he keeps the big knife in the “here’s what really happened” version even though he wasn’t in that room to see it.
As the only one to actually have it in her hands Parker is one who qualifies as stealing it even if fell later.
But of course Nate still wins because back then he was basically Sterling.
Senpai of the air duct, what is your wisdom?
There's a lot of consensus on the Hardison/Eliot/Parker relationship, but hear me out: Nate/Sophie/Sterling.
The episode 5x10 where Sophie and Nate drive Sterling crazy it's a great ship dynamic. Just needed to leave it out there.
the best canon detail they've ever revealed about Parker Leverage is that she will forget your deadname the moment you tell her your actual proper name. she knew Sophie for two years and in season 3 post-name-reveal it's still "🤨who's Sophie?". Parker my beloved I would give you the moon and stars except you could probably steal them all yourself tbh.
Eliot Spencer and Kids – Just Heartwarming <3
im rewatching leverage and just finished season one before i realized i should be saving some fav moments but whatever
the entire gang has so many heartwarming moments with kids, and this is just one scene that never fails to make me smile.
much <3,
Ophelia
Forgot how great the finale of season 2 of leverage is. Man. its just that everything comes together. the fact that even when I was watching it the first time i never thought Tara was betraying them. its in the "thanks for making it interesting nate" and the fact that Sterling switched so quickly when he noticed that Nate was bleeding. its in the fact that nate from the beginning was planning to turn himself over in exchange for the others. its the "i can take them" that Eliot says. about armed FBI agents that surrounded them. its in the fact that Parker was ready to kill Tara for betraying them. its in Hardisons panic that is so so visible. its the way Eliot immediately cuts off Nate's "you can walk away". it's Sophie coming from who knows how far away just because she got called by Tara. its the way Nate finally says that he needs her. its also the "youre my family. my only family". but I think most importantly its the fact that it was stressed so many times over those 2 seasons that Nate is an honest man. That, in Sterlings words, he is not a thief.
"who the hell is this guy?" "i don't know." "my name's Nate Ford. And I am a thief."
just. because it is no longer an insult or something he perceives as worse. yeah he's a thief. the most honourable people he knows are thieves. and he looks up at the helicopter that is flying away with his family and just. man.
yeah. just. man. forgot how good this was. no joke when he said the "I am a thief" I mightve teared up a little bit. its just. this is somehow more telling than the "youre my family" because just. this is how he wants to be perceived. sigh. also the whole Eliot thing and the Sophie thing and just the everyone thing. sigh. Leverage .
